my go-to for NY style pizza in iowa city. i always get one mac and cheese and a specialty/seasonal slice
The fact I could leave the bar at closing and have somewhere close by the to eat was fantastic. Bonus points for the pizza being bomb and having great selections!
Mesa is my favorite pizza in Iowa, I've tried many pizza places down here after moving to Cedar Rapids from Minnneapolis! I was always disappointed til I discovered Mesa! Theyre specialty pizzas are excellent, my favorites are the buffalo chicken, and Mushroom, but I also love traditional flavors like Pepperoni or Pepperoni Sausage at Mesa, they taste like authentic NY style pizza and I can tell they use olive oil in the crust, very high quality pizza!
Great crust with the perfect chew. Not to mention all the amazing specialty pizzas. Mesa does not disappoint.

Great place for unique pizzas if you are tired of the same old pepperoni. Better for take-out than as a destination spot, as the dining area is pretty minimalist.

I could eat here everyday. The best pizza by the slice with so many great flavors. Each one is a knockout.
Lots of pizza options at a relatively high price. The food tasted great, but I'm not sure it was worth the $4-5 a slice. +1 for being open at 1 am.
