I had the seared wings and margherita pizza and they were both so wonderful. The atmosphere was very calm, which is what I needed after a long day of working and travel. I'm in Iowa City for work a lot and will definitely be back!
What a wonderful business! We were at a rehearsal dinner and Maggie’s out delivered their reputation. So good!! Highly recommend and the staff was so nice too!
This place is a must try if you haven't already! We absolutely enjoyed our first experience! We got a plate of Chicken Wings to start, a Maggie's Margherita Pizza, a Funghi Pizza, a Pesto Pasta, and an Italian Choc Mousse. Everything tasted authentic and perfect! Love the fact that everything was made fresh with their own unique ingredients, even the pasta is handmade! We will definitely come back again!It was moderately busy even on a Tuesday! The restaurant also has a cozy atmosphere to compliment the food! Great place for celebratory occasions or social gatherings!

While the shrimp scampi and the garlic knots my husband and I had in the restaurant were n very good, the gluten free margarita pizza we ordered as a take out for my daughter was soggy. The wait staff did state as this was gluten free, it was made in a separate area which if this indeed is the case is greatly appreciated by those with celiac. So I’m not sure if the crust wasn’t cooked completely or it their gluten free crust is unable to hold the ingredients for a 10-12 minute drive back to her home. It’s sad as there aren’t many places in the area where she has found that carry gluten free items that taste decent.
Crust is good. Sauce to cheese ratio is not good (barely any sauce). Margarita had soooo much garlic for no reason..waaaay too much.Take advantage of the wood fired oven and complement that with the sauce. No need for too much garlic, or warn customer.. good luck
The pizza was amazing and delicious and the employees was very friendly and let me order before they was open and enjoy the outdoor seating!!
