Most of the food tasted lovely.Except the Generals chicken was very sweet with no hint of spice. The crab sticks my daughter couldn't eat because they were extra spicy. But the description mentions nothing about spicy when you order online. Even though the chicken and potatoes stew was good. The picture they have on their website. Is nothing like what comes to you.
I pretty much always get the YoPo noodles, fish tofu skewers, and hot sour soup. It’s comfort food (and perfect for a hangover lol). Best hot sour soup I’ve ever had by far and the noodles have an awesome texture.
favorite noodle place in iowa city!!! super authentic flavors and tons of options. they moved to a new space and it's really nice. staff is always super friendly and helpful.highly recommend the dragon breath spicy beef noodle for spice-lovers and the yo po noodle for everyone.
Northern China food. Different. Unique. So good!
Best Asian food I have had outside of Asia, bar none! A strong recommendation from me to anyone who wants to try some authentic Asian cuisine in Iowa.
I absolutely adore this place! Their yo-po noodles are my favorite meal to get, but everything on the menu is worth trying! The owner is so kind and helpful. If you’re looking to get some authentic Asian street food, look no further!
Unmatched hot and sour soup and egg drop soup. Basically all of the appetizers are amazing. Everyone I know has loved their dishes as well.
This is authentic Shaanxi taste!Love it!I recommend Saozi Noodle!
These people are crooks, mainly just the cashier women who has a crazy bad attitude. Things from the front end look very unsanitary and this chick had the nerve to charge me more for my meal. When I immediately realized she became so annoyed I was like forget it It’s all good I won’t be back. Food was about 7/10 I would’ve preferred classic American Asian that’s how NOT WORTH IT the food was.
The food has a lot of flavor and the person behind the counter was very kind and helpful.
