A nice selection of unusual, home made flavors. The ice cream was dense with very little air. We tried the chocolate covered cherry and the banana. Prices were reasonable.My complaint: the flavors we tried were very subtle. I prefer strong flavors.
The butter brickle, peach, and lemon custard are so so good. Butter brickle is not a grandma flavor and do not let anyone tell you that ! you have to try it esp if you like butter scotch tings :D

Love stopping in at Heyn's for a sweet treat. The staff is friendly and helpful, but not always in a hurry, so be patient! The flavors are consistent but sometimes there's something new to try that piques my interest. Parking sucks, so consider walking there or parking further away and walking over. And seating can be limited during peak times, but it's easy to pop a squat on the sidewalk out front.

Great ice cream, lots of selection and decent prices for local ice cream shops. Staff was friendly as well. I do wish they would allow the return of indoor seating though, especially in the winter season. As of December 2021, it is all grab and go or eat outside. Try the monster mash!
Heyn’s is great for anything! Scoops, shakes, twisters, ice cream sandwiches, and even pies!! Love working at Heyn’s along with visiting

It was hard to focus on the quality of the ice cream as there was nowhere to sit and eat it. In from out of town. Did not want to eat in my truck. Got a banana split with soft serve. The flies were all over me. Just not a good experience. The locals highly recommend. The gals inside were very nice.
