Delicious, amazing, a must try breakfast experience! We ordered Texas French Toast, Garden Florentine Omelet, Presidential Breakfast with Chicken Fried Steak, Cali Omelet, and Eggs Benedict! Everyone loved their food, and I especially love my Garden Florentine Omelet, I definitely recommend trying it! The hollandaise sauce, the hash browns, and the Texas French Toast were super tasty! I WILL BE BACK FOR THE PIE SHAKES (we were all full by the end) !!!!

Used pick up to retrieve my food, I got 2 sandwiches, a salad, mac & cheese, and a cake slice. The sandwiches were literally inedible the bread was dry & old & there was literally no sauce, the Mac & cheese looked like this ? , the salad was warm & disgusting, the cake was cold & stale, it was the biggest waste of 32$ I’ve ever spent. On top of all of that the hosts were really rude! Please eat elsewhere for your own sake.

This is a must try if you come to Iowa City. My first time here food was amazing. I got breakfast & my daughter got lunch so I got to try both!! Very yummy!!

Wonderful food, I had the Zadar. Loved me some Ducks Breath.

Ate here on a whim after a visit to the University Hospital, the food and service was excellent. A very quaint place to eat. I had the breakfast and everything tasted very good.

The folks who work at the Hamburg Inn are hard working, nice people. I had the cinnamon role French toast and two eggs over easy. I found the eggs were wet, and the French toast was dry. The place was quite busy, so that can be understandable. One so-so experience is understandable, and I'll return.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Perfect American food joint.

An Iowa City icon. My eggs Benedict was as good as I've had anywhere. It is small and busy, but our service was good and meals came out hot and quickly.

Awesome place, self owned breakfast diner.Highly recommend, family atmosphere old town feel. Good food.Sometimes a little to many college kids though.Still highly recommended though!

We stopped here for breakfast. French toast was really good. Philly cheese omelet was ok. Service was great. Small place, and it was packed to the max...so not good from covid perspective. Otherwise good.
