Maybe it was the starvation I was feeling but the pizza and dessert from Gumby's was soooo good. The pizza came out so hot the toppings were sliding off the crust (a good thing to me!) And the dessert... Oh my word! I'm not a sweets fan but goodness I could've ate the whole dessert pie if I hadn't ate so much pizza first!
Prices are very competitive for this town. But the selection & quality from Gumby's is considerably above average usually. They are in my top 2 pizza places in Iowa City!
Delicious. We killed almost everything we ordered. Delivery wasn't too bad for a wait considering it was 10 pm on a Saturday night.
Ordered Garlic Chicken Pasta and Pokey sticks. The pasta had no sauce on it and was dried out. I gave 2 stars because the deliver guy was so kind and waited at the front desk of the hospital for us to come downstairs to get our food.
I love the stoner pie pizza after a night out! It’s great food with great prices and deals! Only catch is delivery will take longer than predicted every single time, so just plan ahead!
Traveling from pa to Denver stopped in Iowa city for the night decided to try somewhere we never heard of and we were so glad we did. The pizzas were as close to perfect as anyone can get the pokey sticks were amazing and the boneless wings the sauce wasn't too hot wasn't too mild it was just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful dinner
This place is a must try. There pokey sticks are amazing! The pizza's are also phenomenal. This last visit I had the BBQ chicken pizza and a large pokey sticks. Can't get enough of the pokey sticks they are amazing!

See those 5 stars? I rarely give anyone 5. I've been coming here since the 90's. Iowa City holds little interest for us anymore, but we still make random trips just to get some Gumbys pizza. Don't believe me? Ask them about the crazy guys that came from out of town, in a blizzard just for pizza.
Too many good options for pizza in Iowa city to go here. Bland pizza and mediocre service
