Good location and cool atmosphere for a fast food joint. We go here often for the ice cream. I would not recommend the food. Have some patience because high school kids run the shop, and they may fat finger an order on the register or something. However, we all start somewhere and they do a good job with all things considered. Make sure to tip 'em.
Clean and lots of tables and chairs. Yummy!

A lovely, homey ambiance with comfy furniture to hang out in and warm surroundings, so much better than a dirty, bare, plastic and metal corporate store. Service is friendly and professional. I came in last-minute hoping to find an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday and they had exactly what I needed ready to go in the freezer (even though it was January!) and cheerfully personalized the cake for me.
sprite had some extra floating protein, took 3 times to get a cup with no floaters, burgers were still mooing, not a good place

Bun hard ,burger cold , pricing doesn't make sense 3.00 dollars for a hamburger $7.50 for a basket. Not good.
Service was slow. Always is.
The ice cream is good & the kids who work there are nice, however, not a single one of the employees working tonight had a mask on, despite the mask ordinance for Iowa City currently being in effect. We live within walking distance of this DQ, but will likely drive elsewhere for ice cream next time due to the lack of masks.
Like the place. Very good hot fudge sundae.
