Not an ADA compliant business. NO DOGS ALLOWED. Both male bar tenders, Roger and the other guy that sits at the end of the bar doing nothing. harassed and discriminated against me for bringing in a dog. Demanded I show them personal medical information which is a violation of the ADA. Then when I told them they were in violation they said "No we can refuse service to anyone for any reason" Which means that they will discriminate against who ever they want when ever they want regardless of actual laws they refuse to look up.

Cool little spot. Truly a hidden gem of Iowa City. The establishment had a pool table. Prices were very fair! They have $3.00 domestic mugs on Fridays (19 oz). I enjoyed a popcorn shrimp basket, it was delicious.

Griff is a god. Club Car is one of the most welcoming bars in IC. People are just nice. No attitude. Good selection of beers. And bags of Funyuns hanging from the walls. One thing, the Cubs always lose when I watch the game here. It might just be me. Bring your energy and make the Cubs win.
Nice little spot to grab a bite and some drinks hidden right outside of the pedmall area! Pool table, dart board and a video game! Had a tenderloin with some fries that was delicious!
This one is a simple pub. The food was good, the beer was plenty. I went there on a Tuesday night which didn't seem to be their busiest night ever but, then again, these are strange pandemic times. The staff was friendly and prompt. I'll go there again.
Easy to get drinks but hard to get food. I really respect the owner though for holding a benefit for one of her waitresses who has a bad case of cancer. Suzie has a heart of gold.

I’ve been to the Club Car before and have always felt uncomfortable as a LGBTQ person. Tonight is the FIRST time I have felt so comfortable, and appreciated, and wanted as a customer. Kelsey was on top of things the entire night. I wanted to watch Miss Universe because I’m into pageants and she made it happen. She served amazing drinks. She made sure to make me feel like I was #1. I have never met her. I now appreciate the bar more because of her. Thank you. Gracias. ❤️❤️❤️
