Visiting Iowa on a college visit. Food was okay. Super basic. Nice big portions, but not as flavorful as other places I’ve tried. Salsa tastes like tomato basil pasta sauce ahah. Other than that, good price for the food. Did not get any drinks.
For how much I paid for the food, it could have been better, street taco's are not at all how I like them, my fried tacos could have been much better, and then I didn't even get the appetizer I wanted, I don't think I will ever go back.
My partner and I love coming here! The value of the large portions for a reasonable price is fantastic.My partner is from Texas and I lived there for 11 years and got used to really good Mexican food. This isn’t quite Tex Mex, but it certainly hits the spot and is quite good and plenty of things on the menu to chose from. I’m pescatarian and appreciate their fish and vegetarian options.The customer service here is outstanding. The decor is cute and cantina like. Makes you feel like you’re on a little vacation! They also have outdoor seating and last summer had lovely plants to create a nice atmosphere.The main reason we go here is for the drink specials! They have daily specials and their large margaritas always happen to be on special. Love their margs! There are tons of flavors, but classic is my fav. They also have very reasonable prices on beer. Fun place and highly recommend!
100% a must-go for margaritas on the reg. Great deals especially on Mondays and Wednesdays. Wouldn’t recommend getting food. Both me and multiple friends have received food poisoning. Still frequent for the margs though
If you're going to get upset about people opening the wrong door...lock it, it's that simple. Especially considering it can damage the glasses resting above the door. Getting rude with me in front of my small child is horrendous.
What a delicious surprise. I did not expect what I experienced at this small corner chain restaurant.I ordered the Sopa de Tortilla expecting, for the low price, an average presentation.WOW! In my 50+ years of traveling it was, by far, the BEST Tortilla soup I have ever had, delicious, savory, full of flavor, a wondrous dining experience. In a word magnífico!
