The employees were great very respectful until it came to the manager, the ice was out so I had asked nicely if they could put ice in the cup from the back, the manager stopped like at me and said ice machine is broken no ice my bad but yet the young man that took our order got me ice... the manager looked at me well we don't have much after she got caught in a lie, Then we waited for our food she missed a couple of frys when we told her she was very rude and tossed them on the tray... I could get it If they were busy but we were the only customers. We are very dissatisfied with the manager, but great job to the other employees...
I dont publish reviews of restaurants or any business but this left no choice. This was the absolute worst restaurant experience of my life. 10:15 pm on a Tuesday night, sat in drive thru line waiting to order. Around 10:30 made it to the order screen and both drive thru lanes were told one moment please. As the car next to me and I waited to order, 5 cars behind us left. At this point I was never going to order buy was curious how long it would take then to take my order... the car next to me finally left and I still sat and waited, at 10:50 after waiting 35 minutes to have my order taken I leave and pull up to drive thru windows and stare inside as 5 employees sat inside laughing and ignoring me looking at them. I will not return to this sad excuse for a business and will make formal complaint with franchise owner and corporate. From there I went to McDonald's on riverside dr. and it was packed, easily 6 cars infront of me and my whole transaction there took 9 minutes, extremely good service and fresh hot food.
Possibly the worst BK in the US? Don't normally go would never go back. Incredibly slow and food was barely warm when received.
If you can’t run a business properly don’t keep it open. I was first in line and dudes had me and others behind me waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru. When I left, they still had two people at the window who were waiting there god knows how long. I get staffing shortages are a thing nowadays, but if you can’t operate a business, then close it rather than inconvenience people with their engines running when gas is over $4 an hour.
Slowest Burger King I’ve ever been to. Employees don’t care if you get your food fast or not. No efficiency whatsoever. Terrible service. I dread going to this place and is why I’ll never will go back.
30 minutes of wait time because BK won't hire anyone (presumably wont pay a living wage, considering the sign advertising to the youth).Only one person has been working the last three times we've been there. The employees working have done great each time! Hot and great food each time but plan for it to be a 30 min wait in the afternoon/evening. Come on BurgerKing. Support your people!
Arrived drive up at 9:15 am on a Thursday. Should be a slow time. One other car ahead of me. I could hear them being told there would be a short wait.The other car waited 5+ minutes to start giving their order. It took me another 3+ minutes to get my order in. Wonder if there was only one or two people working?Got my food and left to go to my office, got there and the sausage breakfast croissant sandwich, had no sausage. Come on! Never going there again.
Be sure to plan on spending 20-30 minutes in the drive through before they even take your order. The manager will say that it's because charbroiling takes a long time which is a lame excuse for not hiring enough staff because the pay isn't worth it. Do better! This building will be a Busch lite & vape shop in a few months.
Poorly trained staff. Waited at the front counter for minutes while the staff chit chatted in the back. Ordered one item was given another. Ordered one product was charged for another. Reciets were thrown away. Food was put in a bag that was to small and broke. Really was a no return ecperiance. Check everything befote you leave the store or drive through.
Service is super slow inside or drive thru. I've waited over 10min with only 1 car Infront of me in drive thru then another 8-10min to get my food. Inside it took 11min with no one Infront of me. Never good experience in Iowa City's Burger King.
