I asked for butter on my bagel and when I got to work to eat it, the bag was dripping with butter. I really like their bagels, but definetly recommend not putting butter on them.
This is a great bagel shop that has a lot of different bagels, cream cheese, and various breakfast sandwiches. What’s really nice is there’s a drive up.
It was dirty and gross inside. Look at the ceiling above where they make the food, the overa were covered with splatteres and baked on food that hasn't been cleaned thoroughly. They didn't ask why kind of bagels we wanted and then when I asked they messed it up with the wrong bagels. The person making the sandwiches had his mask hanging off one ear and was touch all sorts of surfaces (door handles, door jambs, etc) while wearing the same gloves he was using to make the food. From now on, its downtown or nothing, this location is trash.
Nice location and I absolutely loved their Sundried Tomato Bagel. With some chive and onion cream cheese, it tasted almost like a pizza. Sadly they got rid of it! Bruegger's, please bring back your Sundried Tomato Bagel! I would come every Wednesday and pick up a big bagel bundle with all 13 being sundried tomato! Gosh I'll miss that now that I moved states. But I would still drive to the next nearest location if that bagel was brought back :) Also liked that this location stayed open later than the one in Coralville and the one in Iowa City! Plus Jamba Juice never hurts!
Lukewarm bagel breakfast sandwiches are not my thing. Bruegger's has good food, and I've had better at this location in the past. But twice in the last 2 weeks, I got at best, a lukewarm bagel. Having to heat up the sandwich within 5 minutes of getting it is ridiculous. The food quality is good, but I will use the Iowa Ave. location in the future. These 2 shops are less than a mile apart, but this location has almost a full point less in reviews. This speaks volumes-you all need to do better.
2 egg western is amazing. They build a beautiful bagel with quality yummy ingredients in the middle
Excellent food, I highly suggest drive-thru. We arrived at 8:05 am, ordered from both Jamba Juice and Brueggers 3 sandwiches, 1 açaí bowl, 1 matcha, 1 regular old brewed coffee no frills. 8:45 we finally received our orders. 7 couples served before us from behind us in line, 14 cars through the drive-thru.
Absolutely would not recommend going to this brueggers. I waited 15 mins for my turkey bagel sandwich and they didn’t even put the turkey on it. Plus it didn’t even have cream cheese on half of the sand which that i paid $7 for. VERY disappointed.
Staff was friendly but service was ridiculously slow. We spent $30 and ordered 3 regular bagels with cream cheese and 2 sandwiches. Our order took over 30 minutes and when asked, the staff had to reprint our order and make it as they did not remember what we ordered. There was no acknowledgement or apology from staff for the long wait only an excuse saying that we are waiting on one sandwich when in reality the order hadn’t been started. Drive through was moderately busy, but inside was not. I have always loved brueggers but would definitely suggest going to the Coralville location. After opening the food my sandwich did not have the chipotle Mayo that I ordered on it.
Would be super nice if their hours were correct. If they are gonna close early they should really post that at the drive thru as well. So people arnt waiting and waiting and waiting for service that isn't gonna come!
