My favorite place on the East side. Wonderful atmosphere and great food. One of the few places you can pickup a Tallgrass brew (brought back to life and now brewed by Wichita Brewing Company).

A really nice place. Great menu, and a wide selection of beers. Prices were extremely reasonable.
I got the Say Cheese burger and was a bit disappointed in the burger. The cheese on the burger was barely warm and it wasn't a problem of it just cooling off, the cheese didn't look melted at all in the first place. It seemed as though the burger was cooked and the cheese added on afterwards and slightly warmed by the heat of the burger. The lack of additional toppings also made the burger a bit underwhelming, there was ketchup and mustard at the table but some onions, lettuce, or tomatoes would have been nice too. If done correctly though the burger is promising as even luke warm the cheeses all worked together very well.
Owner is the best! Food always good! Tons of tap beer! Clean and friendly environment for everyone.
Good grilled chicken salad. One of the best October Fest beers was on tap - Sam Adam's. Only one I know better is Azinger, from Munich.
Nice menu selection and reasonable pricing. Good kids menu as well. Like the atmosphere and staff were great. We will be back.
Decent food but getting way too expensive. Inflation and the pandemic have driven up the menu prices significantly.Also the size and quantity have gone down. A side of tots is like about 10 pieces now. The take out container looks 3/4ths empty.Edit: Taking off a star after blatant false reply by owner.
Owner is fabulous and straight shooter, and prides himself in quality food and quality products. Pandemic has been hard on his prices but worth it in the end everytime if he's there. That said, weekend manager is also a GEM. Kitchen staff lack care and attention at that point however. They know their patrons and they ensure they are well cared for.
The BEST in the area! These people know how to rock the city. Hands down the best food in all of Iowa City!!! And if you see this and don’t believe me ask them to show you. Kudos!! Stop complaining and enjoy some good people and their cookin!
