If you want to get treated like you are an inconvenience, if you want an older Greek woman shouting at you, if you want someone to treat you like you are 4 years old, then this is the place for you! Rudest owner I've met in decades. Got a burger and fries to go, didn't want soda that comes with it and asked for water, she gave me city water, I left it behind. She took offense and said bottled water doesn't come with it. I said, fine, I don't want your drink. She also snapped at my husband because he was not prompt and decisive, but asked questions about a few items on the menu. She snapped, which is it then!? We brought our order back to our hotel. No napkins. No utensils, No ketchup or mustard for my burger or fries. No salt on the fries... burger and fries are cold....what is this? Paid $24 and this was soooo unacceptable. If this is how you do business, I suspect you won't be here next time I come through Dubuque.

terrible service and worse is food. cold, no flavor....reading your reviews that you treat people so nice. why were you so rude to us? we did nothing to you. visiting from out of town and come for dinner at your place and you were so mean!

We stopped here as part of our visit to Dubuque. Our decision to come was based on the positive comments. When we went in the owners were working. Husband cooks, wife takes orders. We wanted an order to go. My husband asked a few questions about some of the items and the woman just snapped at him and told him to make up his mind. I order a burger and fries, husband ordered Gyro platter. We asked for the order to go. She asked about drinks. My husband ordered a diet drink - and I told her that I did not drink soda for health reasons. She started reciting all their soda options. I told her "I cannot drink soda." I then asked for water. When our order was ready (in less than a few minutes - a hint that they are clearly not freshly prepared) - she shouted at us - "your food is ready" we went to collect and she gave me a fountain cup of water. I gave it back to her and she got all snappy and said "You know, bottled water is extra." I told her - never mind - I don't want anything. We brought the food home. First of all - she did not give us napkins or condiments. The hamburger was dry with two pickles, a couple pieces (not slices - PIECES) of old tomato, and some very old wilted shredded lettuce. No ketchup, no mustard, no mayo, no nothing. The fries had NO SALT - not a shred. I don't eat a lot of salt but even so - I still like fries a bit salted - otherwise let's face it - they have no taste. There was no ketchup packets, nothing. There was also no napkins in the bag. The food was cold and stale (it was only a few minutes from the restaurant to where we were staying). When I contacted the restaurant about this via Facebook - she became very defensive and said that I should have read the menu before ordering because the menu states what the burger comes with. The cost for this terrible meal? We spend $24.00. This lady was incredibly rude. She is extremely aggressive and rude. I would recommend this place to NO ONE - not even my worst enemy.

I had the Gyro Plate which has lamb and beef meat with salad. It was delicious meal. I will definitely recommend this place. Nice atmosphere.

Wow! DBQ, if you haven't gone here you are missing out. Wife had the gyro plate which was seasoned perfectly. I had the spicy chicken pita which was so flavorful and great heat. Hospitality was great even though we were just carrying out, but we are fully planning on coming back before we leave town.

The food was delicious and authentic. The gyro meat was soooo tender and flavorful. I'm pretty sure the lady running it is from Greece. Staff was kind and professional. I would definitely visit here again.

I like supporting mom & pop local businesses . We were very pleased with our order and portion..very delicious..

Great little secret place that serves great Gyros make sure to get the Gyro with lamb meat and not chicken because it's a lot better that way

These gyros are wonderful! Good, complex flavors in the meat that have kept me coming back for over ten years even when I can make my own. The staff is great and the prices are good. Would definitely recommend for gyros!

They had a nice clock, and had the ball game on. Got our gym shoes and parked outside of a country club to eat our chilli cheese fries with our hands. It was a nice sunset. Life changing experience.
