The service was fast, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious.I would recommend this restaurant for a quick bite to eat with friends.

We came to Dubuque for a trip to the River Museum, and we looked up kid friendly restaurants and this was the first one to pop up! The staff, our waitress especially was so so nice and accommodating with all 5 kids and 4 adults! Thank you so much! Food was amazing and came out so fast! So happy!

Little spot found while visiting Dubuque. Service was sooo fast, barely turned in the menu and the waitress was back with the hot food. Homemade croissant sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was amazing. 2 full eggs fit across the croissant which was golden and toasted perfectly. Cheap prices and cozy feel. Would recommend for a stop when in the area. Loved it all.

Was totally disappointed to realize I was charged nearly $9.50 for 2 eggs, toast and tea. I ordered from the senior menu and tea was not included as a beverage - only coffee. Never had this happen before but waitress said she had to charge an additional &2.49. Breakfast definitely not worth it!!

Great food and fast service. Wish this restaurant was in my town. Had breakfast there and order biscuits and gravy. Soooo delicious. Prices were good to. My partner ordered sirloin steak with eggs etc, came out perfect as well.

My grandson and I visited the Sunshine in March when he was on a mission, looking for pancakes. Entering the restaurant is like going back in time. The decor is not modern or fancy, but it's fine, perfect for this place. There are many breakfast offerings, all of which looked good. I agree with others that the prices are not great, but they are not bad for downtown and a much better value than hotel breakfasts. My grandson had pancakes with chocolate chips, and his eyes were wide when the plate arrived. I had a simple senior plate, which was perfect. The service was pleasant, not bubbly, and overall it was perfect for both of us. If you are staying downtown, this is the place to have breakfast.

My husband and I were passing through town and wanted to have a nice, yummy breakfast and decided to go with a local place instead of a chain restaurant. We were not disappointed. My husband got one of their Friday specials I think it was called sausage skillet and I also got a Friday special eggs Benedict. Both were very good!! Our waitress was very attentive. We would definitely return and recommend.

Came to Dubuque for a daughter's gymnastics competition this past weekend. After it was over, my wife and I were looking for a brunch on the way out. It had all the feels of popular old diner. Close seating, stools that spin and are attached to the ground by a counter, etc. It was quite busy when we got there, but the turn around was fast. We didn't wait very long. My wife got a veggie omelette and I got a sausage supreme skillet and a half order of biscuits and gravy to share. Our food was out so quickly I did a double take! Eggs were cooked perfectly. Sausage gravy had large chunks of sausage. Deliciously soft biscuit. Everything was amazing! All topped off with great service. Must stop for breakfast! I will be going back.

Literally sat down waitress brought our drinks we placed order and were eating within 10 minutes of stepping foot in the building!!! Food was good family style cooking and very tasty!

Amazing food and excellent service! I had the sausage skillet dish and it was easily the best breakfast dish I have ever had (and I’m a breakfast fanatic)! Service was fast and friendly. Easily the best Breakfast in Dubuque. And my partner enjoyed their non-breakfast items just as much!
