They say there's a singles mixer here. What a joke. It's more like a hangout for old geezers. I came here on time, and the only single person there was me. This place is a total let down. The food is overpriced, but it's pretty average. I wouldn't advise following the Dubuque events page here like I did. You'll be quite disappointed. They're lying their rear ends off to the events groups to bring in business. Don't fall for it.

I cant believe I was served this. This chicken.. if it was chicken.. was hard and rubber like. The entire salad contained this chicken like substance?? We will be tossing this and our extremely salty soup. It was completely unedible. Very dissapointing. Waste of money and hopes ? Will be boycotting this place.
We had pizza and lasagna, both were average. The lasagna was bordering on being a soup and the so texture was off, but it was edible. The pizza, which the Shot Tower is locally famous for, was bland. In addition, our pizza had a huge bubble in the crust which caused all of the toppings to slide off a third of the pizza. Normally I would have asked for another but we were on a schedule, I'm just surprised that they let that make it to the customer. The wait staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable, so there's that, but I would not recommend the Shot Tower.
Had absolutely fantastic service. It was so refreshing to have a server who enjoyed their job for a change! Pizza was awesome as ever.
We have eaten about everything on the menu since our son started college in dubuque. Everything has been top notch. Highly recommend for dinner or lunch
Unfortunately the manager Tanta and the owner Cory K. have no respect for customer service. Very unhelpful to resolve order issues, rudely placing blame instead of working with us. We placed a large order, and instead of clarifying with us when the order was placed when ordering sides, made assumptions and then charged us for more than we desired. Our order was also delivered with mistakes. Through the entire conversations with both manager and owner, I was spoken to rudely with nothing more than “I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do” to resolve any of my concerns.The food quality was questionable for the price, overcooked pretzel bites, very oily but flavorless wings… especially with all our upcharges.Very disappointed… more so in the lack of respect from the manager and owner than anything else.
Great waitress and great food made us feel very comfortable and welcome will return.

You can have your Happy Joe's, I'll take my Shot Tower any day! And their burgers are awesome as well.
