We do not frequent fast food restaurants very often, but I will say that every time I have been to Popeye's that the person working drive-through has been fantastic! We visited on Saturday, July 30th at about 5:15 PM in Dubuque and the service was top notch!The food tasted good, my only dissatisfaction was that we did not get the sauce that we had requested and my son did not get the biscuit in his meal. We did feel that the food was slightly overpriced by perhaps a dollar or two.Again, the food again tasted good, the service has always been some of the BEST that I've ever experienced, the only negative was what I had mentioned above.
The staff was very friendly. The parking lot is TIGHT, even though it was mostly empty when we got there. I'd hate to have to drive in it when it's busy.Unfortunately, we ordered Sweeet Tea through the mobile app, but it was after 7pm, and they said they "dump" the Sweeet Tea at 7pm every night. That was sad, since we were looking forward to trying it. It also seems very wasteful.Food was good. The fries were not fresh, but still tasted good. I'd love to try them straight out of the fryer, rather than probably 30-60 minutes old from under a heat lamp.We also added the free apple pie for using the app for the first time. Unfortunately, after getting home, the Apple pie was not included in the bag, but it wasn't worth driving back for an item we technically didn't pay for.Oh well, we'll try again, because what we did get was very good.
Food is pretty good. Didn't take long in drive thru. Nice employees. I will go back. I like their spicy tenders with ranch.
I ordered like I always do, 2 spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles and extra sauce, normally they are awesome but this time they had very little sauce and one had no sauce, normally they put extra sauce on the chicken but they put it in side cups which I couldn’t use because I was driving ( if I wanted it on the side I would have asked) so when I got home I went to put the sauce on and the chicken was cold, I drove for maybe 5 min, normally they are still hot
The staff was very professional but the food is overpriced and disgusting!! I got the family meal And when I got home every single solitary piece of chicken that I had was overly dry and overcooked. The red beans and rice was dry. The biscuits tasted like flour. I don't know whats going on at this restaurant, but please get it together because Popeyes is KNOWN for GREAT JUICY CHICKEN.
While their service & food has done a complete 180° turn around from last year but the restaurant needs to post their hours. A few times I have gone to drive thru & waited after the greeting only to find they are not open.
What a waste of time going here. Menu board says a 8 piece meal is $17.99 and pulled up and asked them why they are charging me $28.71. They are claiming the board needs to be updated. What a bad way of doing business. Will never go back
shrimp and shrimp fries are excellent nutrition with about 8 unique sauces staff is very friendly a spotless clean interiour
Dine in was closed so I downloaded the app and ordered online for pickup. Didn't have both of the main items I ordered so I had to go through the app to get my refund. Plus pay upfront for my new order. Very frustrating. Didn't have a lot of stuff although the app had it listed. Ended up paying $5 more for reordering. Didn't get any deals. Sandwich was good. Fries weren't fresh. It was my first time and not sure if I'll be back. Wasn't a good experience overall.
You can't walk in the lobby. You have to order via drive-thru. I ordered a 10 piece mild family meal and they only had 9 pieces mild and had to get 1 spicy. It came with 5 biscuits so I ordered a extra biscuit and they left it out. I wasn't going to go back through the drive-thru to tell them and it had a lot of cars waiting and had to bang on the doors for someone to see or hear me. Such a inconvenience. If you don't want anyone to eat in the lobby that's fine but to lock the doors especially when you mess up someone's food and need you to fix it is stupid.
