The crab pasta is made with fake crab. Server got snippy with me for telling her I was not impressed when she asked how our meal was. Talked to owner, owner said I should have known it wouldn’t be real crab. We are long time customers of Morocco, and this is how we were treated. Not happy. Another restaurant that sells cheap food for high prices. You don’t get what you pay for here.

Had to try it once, won’t try it again.

Awesome food ,1st time there we will be back!!

A not bad supper club, the food was hearty, the staff really nice, drinks not bad. This place was hopping when we went but it was still good.

Love this restaurant. The food is delicious the staff friendly. The service is outstanding.

Poorly adapted recipes.lots of food look like a bag was opened and put in a fryer. Cottage cheese tasted like it was pretty much out most of the day.

We had cod and walleye, salad, potato, bread. There were crackers and cheese, braunschweiger and ham salad (which we didn't eat as it was Friday). All very good. The atmosphere is different than some of the other restaurants around. No sports bar, no tvs, just nice soft music, good food and quiet conversation. There were more babies and young couples than I thought would be there, but it was still nice.

We were shopping and my husband struck up a conversation with one of the workers and she told us about Moracco's Supper Club. She had great memories as a child eating there with her family. You will need to make a reservation. The restaurant was in the middle of a residential area. There is plenty of parking.Your first walk in to a coat room which leads right into a crowded bar. The hostess was across the room but we were not sure if we should go over to where she was or stay put. After a short wait, she come up to us and we were seated. We were seated at a corner table. There was another table next to where we were sitting. The tables are nicely decorated with linen tablecloths and a lit was candle.Jim ordered the New York Strip and I got the Shrimp Scampi. Our waitress brought out a personal size loaf of freshly baked bread with whipped butter, a cracker basket and small containers of ham salad, egg salad and cheese sauce. We did not order this but it was standard for all tables. The food was delicious and we did not have room for dessert.I didn't particularly like the fact that we had to ask the table next to us to get up from their dinner so I could get out from the corner. I think they could utilize their space better for the dining room by taking out a short wall to open up the dining area we were in. Also I think the coat room can be repurposed and use it in a better way. It just looks like wasted space that could be reworked.I am not a professional decorator or general contractor but it is just some opinions I have. Overall, I thought it was a nice place to eat but it did not have the Wow factor to drive to back to Dubuque and eat there again.

We had high hopes for a great date night and a craving seafood. This was a great disappointment. Our appetizer of the "fresh breaded mushrooms" were clearly standard frozen variety served anywhere. The most seasoned thing on my seafood platter was the green beans. The lobster was rubber, the scallops chewy, and the cod tasteless. My partners seafood alfredo was bland and made with imitation crab despite not being called out on the menu. At a price point of $102 for 2 adults this was awful.

Moracco never fails. From the drinks to the steaks it’s always spit on. Love it. Repeat customer.
