Hands down our favorite place to order pizza and have large family birthday dinners. Their food is so flavorful and the family that owns this establishment is great! Maria is always friendly and attentive anytime we dine here. If you’re in the area, check Marcos out!
Stopped by last night and was happily surprised by some of the best pizza I’ve had and without doubt the best pizza I’ve had in DBQ. Very friendly and attentive staff, too. Highly recommend and we will definitely be repeat customers.
Comfortable, run by an Italian family. My favorite is the cannelloni with mushrooms and pepper. Good basic Italian food. Very friendly staff.
Recently attended my spouse's Holiday work party at Marco's! We had reservations for 20 & we all had an excellent time. Their friendly staff was "over the top" accommodating to us! The bartender was very nice! She kept us supplied with plenty of very tasty Margaritas! We all raved about how good our food was. I have to say that my pepperoni pizza was about the best I have ever had! They have the perfect crust recipe! I was even able to sample their "Hot" Spaghetti and it is delicious! Thank you Marco's staff for such a wonderful night! I highly recommend Marco's in Dubuque!
Amazing family owned, one of a kind homemade Italian Restaurant. It is located in a really cool area of downtown Dubuque, Iowa which has transformed itself nicely from a rough and tumble river town into a solid destination town with quality culture and culinary. The food was amazing, the help friendly and educated and real not rehearsed. A MUST stop.
Great pizza. They should really make it possible to order online. Sometimes it takes like an hour to get an order in by phone
The best pizza in Dubuque hands down. Nothing beats the authentic Italian pizza they make and the family has kept the greatness going throughout the years. They have a smaller dine in area and the building looks like it did 20+ yeara ago but man oh man is the food amazing. They offer delivery and take out which is usually what we will get. They have even offered to meet us halfway when we ordered outside of their normal delivery zone. Love eating here and love supporting the local business. You will not be disappointed by their pizza!!!
Great, personable waitresses, however...the food was more than lacking. We ordered the 2 signature dishes, Hot/spicy spaghetti and Pesto spaghetti. It came with a salad, lettuce and dressing, no onions, carrots, croutons, cheese, NOTHING but lettuce. My pesto was good, but my husband's hot spaghetti tasted like tomato sauce or Chef-boy-r-dee....really bad. Sodas tasted moldy and the worst...it was almost $50 for 2 plates of spaghetti and 2 sodas....no meat, no appetizers. Maybe we should've tried the pizza, like Jay Leno did.

Decided to order Marco’s pizza tonight for dinner. When I called I was told it would be around a 2 hour wait for delivery. After waiting 2 an a half hours, I decided to call to see if it was on the way. It was confirmed that the pizza was out for delivery. 20 minutes later I called again to make sure it was on the way. I was informed again that it was out and would be arriving shortly. They mentioned they were behind due to staffing shortages and the start of a football game. I was rather disappointed that they offered no apologizes and saw the football game as an excuse. As we had ordered the pizza over an hour before the game started. When the delivery man arrived I inquired how long it had been in his car as I didn’t want cold pizza. His response as he rudely walked away was “that it happens lady!” After a 3 hour wait the pizza was cold and I walked away with disappointment.
