I come from a place where there are twice more taquerias than there are McDonald's...maybe more, I think we have 6 McDonald's and easily a dozen or more taquerias. In comparison to some of the local faves I'd rank this 3-star, but couldn't find any/many legit looking places in Dubuque, so I'd give it a 4-star in Dubuque.
This place has THEE best steak tacos I've ever had the sheer pleasure to consume. Authentic corn tortillas with generous helping of magnificently seasoned steak complimented by shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and your choice of house sauces. Magnifico.
Best tacos in Dubuque hands down. If you want true, delicious and filling tacos then look no further the Al Pastor (marinated pork) is by far my favorite and go to! Slap a little green sauce on it and it’s heaven from there!
Great food, only place I can find certain Hispanic items in town. Good service. Expect to wait 15-20minutes for your order but it’s worth it.
Great little hole-in-the-wall place. They have the groceries for Mexican cooking that you may not find at the conventional grocery store. It's a little more expensive, but available. The restaurant is only takeout or delivery, but if you want some authentic-like tacos, tortas, or burritos, this is the place. I recommend the al-pastor tacos.
Greasy but it's good. Great price, you can order ahead of time and your food will be ready for you. The menu is short but it's good. You can't dine in, it's all take out.
The al pastor is incredible and do not sleep on the beef tongue tacos. It may sound weird but it’s delicious.
