Great service and food in a vintage diner. Easy street parking. My husband enjoyed a patty melt and I had a yummy bacon omelet.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn and this was just a short walk from the hotel. Cute little place on the inside and thats where to good ended. Our waitress had a smile on her face but was a little rude. Our drink order was wrong and we had to flag her down to get what we ordered. She wasn't happy about it. Food was poor at best.
Biscuits and gravy and hash browns.she was friendly this time.food was good
All I can say is hello Mayberry. Where is Barney and the sheriff. All seriousness the food was simple, fresh and fantastic. Served with love by the excellent wait staff in Dubuque. I’m going back but don’t know when!
We were visiting Dubuque from Atlanta and had a lovely breakfast with my aunt and uncle here. Great food, great service. Wish I could go more often!
Debra is the best server in town. Love this little gem of Dubuque. Stop if your in the area for breakfast. Act fast because seating is limited.
Stopped at Dottie's for lunch while we were in town for spring break. Atmosphere, food, and service were awesome! If you want some small town charm, give it a try!
Peggy is kind and a great server. The food is good and affordable. They're not trying to be an artisan cafe with $10 egg sandwiches, it's simple and quiet. It's nice to have a timeless place like Dottie's.
Perfect in every way. From the Perfect customer service to the world tasting home cooked food. The best part was that it was priced reasonably.110% I'm recommending this place
This restaurant is exactly what you would expect. Don’t expect an egg white omelette with vegetables. This is a slice of Iowa and should be considered a place to stop when you are in Dubuque and yearn for the breakfast your grandma would have made you. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. We stoped in the morning after a ski trip. The corn beef hash was outstanding. The coffee was fresh and the entire meal will remind you of rural Iowa and an appreciation for all that it is.
