Wow, wow, wow! Such delicious food! We had lunch. I had the chicken wings with a side of fries. YUM! My companions had the jalapeño burger, the Gyro, and a kids hamburger. All was very good. wait staff (Connie K.) was fabulous. was there before we even knew we needed anything. Drinks were filled, extra items were brought. The entire experience was above and beyond. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My mom says this is one of the best pulled pork sandwiches she's ever had. The coleslaw on it was perfect since it didn't have a lot of creamy mayo.I wish I had gotten something other than the fish tacos. The fish in them wasn't the best quality and tasted pretty gross. I didn't even get through the first taco, but, thankfully, the delicious, loaded Bloody Mary I had filled me up.I'd come back to try something else if we come through Dubuque again. Very cute atmosphere in a cool old building.
Wow! All of our food was amazing and service was great! They were decently busy, but every aspect was perfect. We ordered a variety, but included a burger, a BLT, steak tacos, wings, cheese curds, and the truffle fries. All was delicious, presented well, and came out in great time. We also ordered the cheesecake from frosted and filled, probably the best cheesecake I've ever had!! 10/10, would recommend to everyone.
We loved it so much that we came a second time in our 4 day vacation. Nice atmosphere and courteous workers with excellent food. Fresh salads, steak bites were tender and juicy, scallops were cooked perfectly, the bacon wrapped meatloaf was flavorful, the BLT was the best we've ever had, and the veggies were so good. Fresh and high quality ingredients, large portion sizes. Highly recommend.
The food here is always delicious and the service is always great. The steak bites were perfectly cooked and the sauce and red onion really elevate them. I adore the Mac and cheese and the Greek salad with fried feta is brilliant.
The mushroom spinach soup was so so spicy. I didn't expect that in a cream soup and it was just not good. Gyros was ok. Cheeseburger and fries was really good. Service was good.
We waited 40 mins for our food and the place was not crazy busy. Food came, I had ordered the spicy chicken, tasted like burnt fryer. Waitress was very nice and didn't charge me for it. Asked if I wanted something else, I really couldn't wait another 40 mins.
Busy place. Good food. BUT. I Observed bar tenders not following simple sanitation rules (touching in side of glasses and using hands instead of proper utensils, ect.). Make sure your reservation gets in. You'll end up waiting 30+ minutes for that reserved table anyways. Also if you get put in the back room with the screaming kids it ruins the experience. Try to get a table in the main room. 5 stars for the amazing food. 3 stars given for experience of the visit. Hope next time is better.
