Not many of these neighborhood bars left in town...great place for a couple cold beverages, and a fantastic place for a home cooked meal - any dish, you name it, is delicious. It's not the lodge in the mountains of Georgia, but it's humble, quaint and feels like home. Stop in and say hi to Terri, Spanky, and Angie. Choo choo...thanks Buddy!

We chose Buddies because it looked online like a warm atmosphere and great food menu with salad bar! We were not disappointed. Randy the bartender welcomed us with a smile and some great stories about Buddy Holly his favorite. Steven the owner was great running the train and telling us about the restraunt and history. Try the horseradish it will knock your socks off! Wally a local spent time telling us about the neighborhood and the upholstery company he worked for before retirement. Now to the FOOD I had the prime rib , my wife the ribs and shrimp both were 5 star! Mark the server was amazing with his advice and service. This place was so much fun.
