Cocktail list slim but focused.Overall food was good. Salt use is evident but not distracting. Love the use of oils. Definitely use the bread for dipping in the Asparagus soup. Chocolate mousse is super rich definitely for sharing. Shrimp was great very well balanced plate. The almond anchovie added the perfect amount of crunch. Campanella was good. More peas would've been nice. Asparagus added good crunch to dish. Bonus came by when morels were in season.Overall very well priced for meal.
An excellent meal. We had the sweet potato pancake, the shrimp, salmon, and the creme brulee. I highly recommend the shrimp, as it was very flavorful. The salmon had a perfect sear without being overcooked. The restaurant provides a complimentary crusty bread, but it was very tough and lacked flavor. I think they could do without it.The restaurant itself was a bit noisy, but we were still able to have a nice conversation without shouting to be heard. The staff was friendly and attentive.I highly recommend Brazen for couples, friends, and families. Overall, Brazen was a culinary experience we won't forget, and I look forward to our next visit.
We were there Friday for my birthday and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic! The drinks were different but delicious! One of the best steaks I have ever had! and those mashed potatoes were delicious! Will definitely be back!
One of the best steak I have ever had. Same goes for the Old Fashioned cocktail. The best Old Fashioned I've had in Iowa. Our servicer, Lindsey/say, was excellent! The complete experience was amazing!
Absolutely extraordinary cocktails. Period. Some of the best cocktails I’ve had in iowa. Food was amazing too. Had the duck tacos and leek fondue so far and both were amazing! Sat at the bar and had a great time watching them make all the cocktails. Wish I lived in Dubuque so I could come here more often!
We've eaten here before, but not for a few years. It is as good as I remembered. Very efficient and professional wait staff. Food was great. Always a good choice
What an amazing dining experience! Each course was spectacular. The craft cocktails were delicious! Service was impeccable! Jon S., our waiter, was delightful. Despite arriving late in the evening, we were welcomed warmly and told in no uncertain terms not to rush. Menu items are varied and creative. Portions are generous. There are numerous vegan options as well. I'd give Brazen my highest recommendation and I hope to return soon!
First time there and it was great! The atmosphere was perfect and food was phenomenal! It's a seasonal restaurant so I can't wait to go back when the menu changes!
Nice meal with family was hoping for the fried chicken but fryer was broke. Had the Ramen dish was good. Nice friendly server.
Whenever I come to town, Brazen is always a must go to for me! The food is always amazing, I love that they constantly change up their menu very season, it shows what a talented chefs Kevin & his team are. The vibes are amazing, and I had a delicious drink there as well. Shoutout to our amazing waitress Christina for taking such good care of us!!
