This is by far my favorite coffee shop is Dubuque! Their drinks are always amazing and it is a very welcoming environment!! Highly recommend!
Bob & Lou’s is hands down my favorite place to get a coffee (or a lemonade, or a chai, or a matcha!). In all my trips to Bob & Lou’s, I’ve never had a bad experience with an employee or a bad drink. The employees are even sweeter than the coffee! It’s so nice to support a small business that cares about its customers and it’s product! P.S. I totally recommend experimenting with their menu—I get something different every time and it’s always tasty!
Honestly, I have been to Bob and Lou's a handful of times but most, if not all of the times, I have been disappointed. My coworkers rave and get Bob and Lou's all the time so I have tried to give them a chance multiple times. I have felt that it really doesn't have a welcoming environment and prioritizes people that are regulars like right in your face. Which made me, someone that is not a regular, uncomfortable because I felt like I didn't matter.Most of the time that I have gotten the same exact drink as I previously did, it has been inconsistent, it's either way too sweet or not sweet at all. I normally get a white chocolate dirty chai with vanilla cold foam. Sometimes, there is ground up espresso just floating around in my drink which is not appealing.I also gifted a family member the coffee beans that is sold in the front of the store. It was the sticky buns one I believe. They did not like it and I was shocked. So I personally tried it and I was disappointed. We are coffee lovers and like pretty much any coffee but that one that I had gotten was not very good at all.
I'm originally from Dubuque but have not lived there for some time. I have heard about Bob + Lou's and their cute camper for a while now and decided I needed to try it! I went this weekend with my mom and we LOVED it! The brown sugar latte was to DIE for and had my mom and I wishing we had gotten more! I also got the Blackberry Rosemary Lemonade for my daughter and it was delicious!! Highly recommend!
Bob & Lou’s hands down is my favorite coffee stop in Dubuque (and surrounding areas during camper season)! It is REALLY hard to pick a favorite...I go from a hot chai tea, to Salted Caramel with cold foam, Honey Lavender, Maple Brown Sugar....and that’s just the coffee...the lemonades are amazing! I love them all but I think my favorite is the blackberry and rosemary. Sarah and the staff are so helpful and friendly! I always leave with a smile on my face and a great drink in hand!!
The only place I want to get my coffee now! Sarah and her staff are the best, they will make whatever combination you request, or help you create something if you’re not sure. My favorites are iced lattes with cold foam and the new blackberry rosemary lemonade! I had 3 drinks from them in one day this weekend and zero regrets

Bob & Lou’s is a locally owned business, that has the best coffee and the best service! Sarah and her Bob & Lou’s team always serve with a smile, and I simply love Momma K’s Sticky Bun!! Definitely a must when you are in the Dubuque area!!

Bob & Lou's is such a treat to have. The lavender honey latté is amazing, but then, so is any other drink I've tried. Friendly people and quick service.
