We had a great meal and great server tonight! This is one of our go to places in town. The food is great and the service was fast.

We stopped in for lunch by chance that another restaurant was closed, omg , thank GOD for that. The best place we ate at in Dubuque, we were recommended to many other places and told how great, they were mediocre at best. 1st and Main was outrageously phenomenal, whoever is the chef back there needs a raise, wonderful burger, the most amazing breakfast club sandwich I’ve ever had and the fries are unreal!!! Thank you for our best experience on our mini vacation!!!!
Stopped in here for a late dinner. It looked casual, nothing fancy and more of a restaurant than a bar. Found easy parking right around the corner too. Inside it wasn't too busy, felt comfortable and they had the hockey playoffs on one of the TV's over the bar. Very important to a traveling Canadian. Good menu with lots of choices. I ordered the Western Burger. I was shocked went it arrived.... it was huge! I had to take a minute to figure out how I was going to eat it. It was a good as it was tall. Really a great burger. The staff was friendly and my server Michelle was very good. Would visit again for sure. Still have to finish the I've Been Everyone talk too.
We walked in with a 12 U softball team and their families at the last minute. 30+ people. The staff was very accommodating found seats for everyone. Some of the orders got missed but overall they did a amazing job . It was pretty chaotic. I didn't hear anyone complain about the food everything was fantastic. We had the cheddar potato bombs and street tacos, would definitely recommend. They also had a great draft selection with flights available.
We've gone there before and enjoyed the food and service. Went on a holiday recently and the service was horrible. We sat in the back at a table along the half wall. Instead of walking around to the table the waitress tried to refill our glasses over the wall and poured ice water all over the table. They were packed with over an hour wait for poorly presented food. Should've only opened at half capacity if they didn't have the staff to keep up.
Service was horrible! Staff too busy talking to each other or with their friends that where sitting at the bar. They acted like we where not there. Food was okay after finally someone helped us. They had plenty of staff working so that wasn't the problem.
Stopped here during a mini road trip. Sat at the bar and ate dinner. Great beer and cocktail options. They didn't serve typical bar food even though it was late. Very impressed by the menu and execution. Food came out fast, too. Jake, the bartender, was extremely friendly and helped us narrow down things to do the next time we'd be in the area. Nice little stop on our way home from Chicago
Have to try the Weekend Breakfast Buffet and Blood Marys!! Very kid friendly too!!! Great place to meet up with family and friends enjoy a great variety and also a breakfast menu if you do not want the buffet. We will be making this a weekend tradition at least once a month!!
