Out of chips, pasta, gluten free bread-drinks Sat in filled for a while-Slow service (kind ladies/staff) I know times are tough. But it really it wasn’t too busy so it just seemed a bit odd!The atmosphere looks awesome - didn’t do rooftop I bet that’s nice in the summerWings were good - pizza is from others lights so that’s good too!
Only getting one star because zero is not an option. Came in on a Friday night. Environment is sweet. Our bartender was clearly new so she gets a pass. But the place was out of all condiments we ordered (ranch & blue cheese for the wings/queso for the nachos). How you don’t have ranch and queso going into a weekend is beyond me. Let management get some stuff figured out before trying this place.
Music way too loud for the whole 10 people within the building. Food was over cooked. They can afford thousands of dollars worth of speakers within their building but can't even get a water filter for that nasty DSM water. Front of house staff was extremely friendly. Bartenders and cooks need more education on the menu. Order a Cuben for it to come out with pulled pork on it ??♀️. Mule was majority Ginger beer. So much potential. Failure in execution.
Stopped in just for a few drinks. It was beautiful out so they had everything open. Very cool place. Also liked the music they were playing. We will come back sometime soon to try the food. The first impression was great!
They spent a ton of money building this place for average bar food. Had the Cueso and chips. I've had better at minor league baseball games squeezed out of a machine. The chips weren't delicious and probably purchased at Costco. After being presented this mess our trial was over and we departed.
It was not a great experience. Had to seat ourselves and was not greeted. Only 2 tables were occupied when we went in. Ordered zaracho's and came out in less than 3 minutes. Very cold nachos. Will not return. Staffing appeared to sit at the end of the bar and one waitress appeared to be working.
I went on a Tuesday evening with a few 4 other friends. The restaurant was empty which didn't explain the extremely slow service and the cold food we received. Pizzas are from Northern Lights (noted on Menu), I got the daily special, $3 Tacos and an order of Zora fries (which was basically the french fry crumbs from the bottom of the fry bag) The server wasn't sure what kind of tacos they were, told us it was a fried shell and later returned when the food was done and said they were just soft shell.I was definitely not impressed by the service and lack of menu knowledge, especially when we were the only ones in the restaurant. I do not recommend and likely will not be back, the consensus of not returning was the same amongst all of my friends. Best of luck, this place needs it!!
I've been coming here quite a lot recently and have noticed some extreme changes since the summer months. Firstly, the food has gotten drastically better and the drinks are as strong and perfectly crafted as ever. It seems like the staff has dwindled which I find to be a benefit as each person that works now knows the menu well, is friendly, and never hesitates when you need something. Bar by day and club by weekend, this place is ever-changing in the best way! Lovely space, great service, and tasty bites! Zora is not just another bar on Ingersoll, but it is one of the better ones!! Definitely don't hesitate to stop in and try a signature cocktail!
Came here during the summer a few weeks after they opened. Drinks were good. Enjoyed the rooftop environment. Wish they had more of their own food though and didn't serve Northern Lights. With that being said, I'd still go back just for the drinks.
Have heard about Northern Lights Pizza for a while and decided to give it a try (yes they serve it). I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and our waitress was great. The food was great too
