I had a burger that had a bunch of appetizers on it, like fried pickles and cheese curds. It was awesome. The garlic and blue cheese fries were also awesome. I really liked this place. My only regret is that is unlikely I'll ever get to eat here again, because the menu had a bunch of burgers that I wanted to try. If I could make a recommendation it would be to make a slider plate so folks could try more of the very interesting menu. Thanks!
Zombie Burger has a lot of creative burgers as well as other food options. The shakes are fantastic. Only reason I rated it a 4 vs a 5 is that their burgers tend to be a little much for me and every now and then you'll get a combination that's a saltbomb. Overall their food is delicious. Pictured are the cinnamon toast crunch shake, cheese fries basket and the 'They're coming to get your Barbara' single burger.
Travel stop thru Des Moine. Excellent choice! Hamburgers were very very good with lots of options. Good beer also. Excellent friendly service.
Dude this place is the freaking best..I love the food. I had a undead burger ? which was made with Mac n cheese as the top and bottom bun.. my wife has a fire burger also can't remember the name because the place was so awesome. the craft beer is to DIE ?for. I had a coffee beer and a peanut butter porter.. I will always have this as my go to spotThank you for this place
We visited zombie burger on a recent road trip, even detoured a bit out of the way to give it a try. The atmosphere was great, the decor was awesome, and the food delicious. Just wish we had one closer to home. Definitely worth going out of the way to visit.
The restaurant was very well “in theme” zombies were everywhere and the names of the food correlated. Service was very great and food too. The only negative was not a lot of waiting space.
This is the go to place for a good burger in Des Moines! They also offer amazing boozy shakes. This is a can't miss for lunch!
Zombie Dawn of the Dead cheeseburger with bacon and fried egg rocks! The mall location just needs to pay enough to keep workers so they can be open and reduce long waits. Their staff is clearly in misery. But it’s a terrific burger when made correctly.
Grandparents, college age, and kids all enjoyed Friday night dinner at Zombie Burger! From bbcue burgers to macaroni and cheese burgers to the BEST milkshakes! We were lucky and went early and were able to be seated right away but the Saturday night crowd was an hour wait for a table. They do have take away which was an option. Of course, we had to buy the sweatshirt too which is really way cool! Tie dye black....and the obligatory pictures of us with the zombie character statues. A really fun place and good food. Get an order of fries for the table as they are that good!
Such a fun place! The atmosphere is awesome and they played all of my favorite music. I got a shake that was amazing, a great lunch, and the mixed drinks were delicious as well. I definitely would come back here. I heated about this place two years ago or so online and never forgot about it. Since I was swinging through town, I was so glad I never forgot it!
