Seems like kind of a hidden gem/location to me. Great menu options and the food and drinks were so good! Really great sushi and lots of cool flavor options for sushi. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and was a quiet and pleasant setting. Didn’t have to wait to be seated which was great. Would recommend and go again!
The best Asian cuisine we’ve ever had. The best part? Staff was incredibly kind and beyond friendly. Our waiter made adjustments to our orders and provided us with what we needed. The food was even better! Every dish was mouth watering. The flavors danced in your mouth. We had a couple picky eaters in our group of 7 and even they liked it. The worst part? I don’t live closer to enjoy this restaurant more often.
We've tried several sushi places since moving to Des Moines two years ago. Wasabi Chi has fresh sushi at slightly more reasonable prices than some others. Service by "CJ" was attentive and professional. While my spouse enjoyed sushi, I ordered the Thai Cashew Shrimp. It was delicious! The restaurant has a small, quiet, "adult" bar that opens in the afternoons. We'll definitely make a return visit!

Food was good, service was great! We will either dine in or pick up our own food over door dashing from here from now on. There was a drastic difference in our experience when we took the 3rd party out of the equation!

This was my first time ever eating here. I've passed this place thousands of times before some friends invited me to come here and I am happy they did.
