Last 3 times I've eaten here they don't make the food how they always. It's always soggy, under cooked or over cooked. The chicken is just mush. On 3 different dishes. They've left out onions, they leave out peppers, they leave out pineapple. I asked about it and they said they are too low on food. Take that item off the menu if you can't make it correctly!
4/9/22 delivered by door dash. I ordered sesame chicken meal, lo mein combo meal, fried potsickers and crab ragoons. Food was fresh. The containers leaked out into the paper sack, it was all wet. If they had used plastic bags, then paper sack, it wouldn't have been such a mess. The crab ragoon wrappers were very thick, not like a normal wanton wrap. Southside location does a better job at packaging.
Ordered the combination lo mein . I double checked and that is what I ordered. It’s just plain beef and noodles. I did one find one tiny shrimp on there. The white rice came in one big hard clump. I wouldn’t recommend
Food was good. Hot mustard was HOT. YUMMY
Since new owners took over, less food, didn't see their awesome lunch specials. Sauce was a little runny. But otherwise food was tasty.
$12 shrimp egg foo young and these are the tiny shrimp they use. It wasn't good at all.....waste of money
I haven't ate here in almost ten years it's still the same good food nice atmosphere I'm very happy it hasn't changed since I was a kid they are a few Moines staple

Super fast service. Table seating. You can always count on Tsing Tao.They serve Coke products but you can buy Pepsi out of the cooler.But.... Really? A chinese restaurant that doesn't serve tea? Fortunately I had a Pure Leaf bottle in my car so I drank that.
Great service & a popular option for Chinese food in East DesMoines the food is really good not super greasy & not spicy it is better to call ahead & order take out, but they have a dine in option too. It's a nice clean local spot
