I really dig this place...I enjoy the atmosphere and people...it has a good location. So far the food has just been so-so. I figured I will give em 1 more chance before I make my final decision.So far nothing sets the food apart for me. Just my opinion...like I said really do like the place and I would definitely come here over El Rodeo !
Small intimate location. Their chori-queso is delicious. I also tried their carnitas chimichanga covered in queso. It was good, but I would suggest another meat choice for this specific dish as the fried, queso and meat combination all together creates a little salt bomb. The lovely ladies I had lunch with here thoroughly enjoyed their enchiladas and tamales too. Prices are very fair, just don't try to go here on the weekend as they are closed.

Best kept secret in Des Moines. Family owned and operated for over 13 years. We have been going since they opened. The food is great. The service is personable and fast. Prices can't be beat. I recommend the Shrimp Enchiladas or the Fajita Chicken Burrito. Open Tuesday-Friday
We really like this little place. The service is fast and the prices are fair. The Margaritas are good, and the chimichangas are delicious. I recommend the shredded beef. If I had any complaint it would be that the portion of cheese dip is tiny and they are frugal with their chips over priced therefore the 4 stars. Otherwise it is definitely a favorite for the locals and the folks there are very friendly!

Quaint restaurant. Service was outstanding. Ordered Bean Dip which was worth the visit. I ordered the Carna Asada Burrito which was good but could have used some sauce on top. My wife ordered the Mini Taco Salad, Fried Taco and Enchilada combo. It looked really good and wife enjoyed it. If you come for the margaritas make sure you order a large as the original is rather small, they do have a margaritas tower.
Best carne asada burrito in Des Moines!! And loooove their salsa they start you off with, always have to get a queso to pair with it! 10/10 stars!! Fast service, kind staff & Locally owned, make sure to check it out!
