Soup was lukewarm. Entree was hot but oily and not very tasty.
My granddaughter and I were really wanting some good Chinese. I went online and this place got nearly five stars, so we decided it must be the place to go! Sadly, it was just 'okay'. I was really wanting some good fried rice, but this rice was simply plain white rice with a tiny bit of scramble egg in it. Very tiny bit. And there were no veggies, or seasonings of any kind! I had to add a lot of soy sauce to give it flavor. Her orange chicken, was chewy and had an odd flavor. I also had beef and broccoli and it was good, but an average good. All in all... just 'okay'.
I ordered chicken fried rice with fried pot stickers later in the evening for pickup. The food was ready when I arrived and the ladies working were very nice! My order was all correct and hot when I got it home! Really enjoyed my meal and how easy it was to order online, will definitely order again in the future!
I ordered sweet and sour chicken spicy. It was absolutely delicious. I have ordered it one time before with a special request to get the sauce on the side since I was worried it would be too sweet. This time I did not order special as I have a restaurant too and did not want to be difficult. To my surprise when I got home Angela (I think that is her name) remembered exactly how I ordered it before and I didn't even ask! This is truly the best Chinese food in Des Moines and the service is amazing!Thank you!Tokie
I ordered 4 meals one was wrong, the restaurant wouldn’t make it right snot to mention taste heavy with Soy sauce on fried rice.
It was just.. okay. All of the food was just heavily breaded mush. Lo Mein tasted oily. Pretty average.
Great place with fast friendly service. Always nice and food tastes great. Ladies there are so sweet and make you want to come back.
