I was surprised at the quality of food here especially by the Pho. Overall the food I purchased here was good and satisfying.Pho: 8.5/10. Pho here is definitely better than average. Strong mild beef flavor, clear broth, darker rich color broth, I can taste and smell the aromatics, and broth balance was very good.Bun Cao: 7/10. Tasted fine. Nothing special.Bo Kho:7.5/10. Good beefy flavor. Some of the meat portions were cut incorrectly, when I bite into it, the meat was too long and big to chew. Baggett was perfect.Eggroll: 8/10. Good.Spring roll: 7.5/10. Taste fine. Good peanut sauce.Fried rice: 8/10. Good.

Went here tonight for the first time. As a chef myself it's very hard sometimes to find places to eat out at. However this place was amazing. The authenticity and flavors of the food in this place was incredible. We went on mother's day. Dave the owner n chef came out to our table n introduced himself to my family. Gave all 4 of my kids free juice boxes n soda. Our experience couldn't have been any better. Thank u to the staff and Dave. We will def be back again.

We come eat here every time and Joseph is the best server! All the food here is the best,

This is by far the best Pho I've experienced in the Des Moines area and I've been to most places around. The broth is extremely rich and flavorful. They go above and beyond. It's pretty cool how it's inside the C Fresh Market. Brings a super authentic feel with an amazing atmosphere.

I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and a sliced beef banh Mi. The egg rolls were standard but enjoyable. The banh mi was enjoyable but a little disappointing. My favorite part of a banh mi is the crusty french bread. This bread was not crusty it was soft. However, what I did enjoy was the fusion. You can get brisket and other meats not on a traditional banh mi.I wish I could get the crusty roll I've enjoyed at other Vetiamise restaurants and combine this fusion.I will get another one of these as I love the fusion. Wish they had the crusty baguette.

For a small town it’s good there are some good Vietnamese restaurants. I chose 515 because the food on the pictures looked good and fresh. I don’t regret for coming here. The food was great and it saved me from starving or having to eat nasty bar food or nasty American food. I’m game, eradicate American Food for any ethnic food period!!!

Their food taste flavorful and authentic. I love their gumbo!

Very good, very clean. The staff was very kind and charming. Definitely recommend especially if you are done doing your grocery shopping since it is located in an Asian market.

Our favorite restaurant in Des Moines!! The bahn mi bread is so good, and the boba teas are the best I've found in Des Moines too. Especially the strawberry and honeydew boba teas. They renovated recently, and it looks amazing! Bonus, the wait staff is great!

I have no clue how this place has almost 5-stars. I received pho broth with a gnat floating in it. this was after I saw all the gnats crawling on the windows, but they were inside because you know it's January and bugs aren't in the cold. it's absolutely disgusting this place is allowed to serve food to the public.
