Food was fair. Service was excellent. One person in our company found hair in her food. We told the server and the manager came over. She offered to replace it but our friend was nice and didn’t mind the hair . She kept eating it. She still paid the full price. IMO , the manager should’ve given her a discount. Food was ok. Don’t think we’ll be back.
This is a great restaurant! I’ve been twice now and between my own entrees, shared appetizers, and sampling my friends’ entrees, I’ve loved everything I’ve tried so far! I’m convinced that this is the type of place where you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I’d been wanting to try Peruvian food for a while before coming, and I’m grateful that Panka was my introduction to it. The interior is really cute and cozy too, and the plating is beautiful. I recommend dining in if you can!
Super disappointed was excited to try some Peruvian food as I haven’t had some in a long time and the good reviews were even more reason to check it out. Unfortunately I was greeted with a lack luster welcome. I brush that off and was seated despite the restaurant being nearly empty I waited 15 minutes and never was approached. Two gentlemen of a lighter complexion came in and orders were immediately taken. Take from this whatever you like but I’ll never come back.
I love the workers, hostess and owner are really Peruvian so you can enjoy authentic peruvian food. I wish I would have asked to remove the ice from the chicha morada. Too watery. Very elegant and we were treated so wonderfully.
10/10 absolutely delicious! Perfect spot for a romantic date. Beautiful design and comfortable seats. Great music and its not played too loud. The food is next level!!! Several vegan options. You can tell everything is super fresh and made it house to order. To the chef, you are a rock star!!! And the service was lovely ? Free parking out back.

Good food and great service. We got there early on our way to the symphony and enjoyed their happy hour appetizers plus a Camarones Tempura salad and grilled octopus. Only the octopus disappointed us a little, but ordering octopus this far from an ocean is always a roll of the dice. We're definitely going back to try more of their menu.
Arrived at our reservation time and the restaurant was almost full. Took a moment to be seated without menus. It became clear this was an attempt to slow our ordering process because they were over their capacity to serve. Not sure how that happens with a reservation system, but it did. At our first opportunity to order anything (30 minutes after we were seated), we ordered drinks, appetizer, and main course at the same time in hopes that would speed up the service time - it did not. Long story short we did not get served our main course until 95 minutes after our reservation time. Unfortunately, we had to get our food to go at this point because we were late for a show. Gave them one extra star for the two bites of food we had that were pretty good. However, my grilled octopus arrived with only two pieces when every photo I have seen shows three. Overall very disappointed with service that did not match the high end pricing of the restaurant. Also tried to contact them directly and got no response.
Overall, it was just ok. Not the best for intimate conversations. The seating was crowded and there was no where for patrons to wait for a seat. We had 4-6 people looming over our table all throughout the night. The food was decent for the price. The seafood entrees were very good, but my steak was like chewing a shoe. Possibly I ordered incorrectly? Or, chef had a bad night? Our server was excellent. All interactions with the staff was positive. Would I try again? Definitely.
