When we entered, got seated to a booth, they did not offer us a high chair for baby. The place was not even busy yet, and we had to wait about 5 minutes until we got our waters and chips and salsa. The shrimp i had ordered was cooked too long, looked like pieces of chicken, and my rice was not separated from the shrimp. The taco salad we also ordered was bland, and the steak was not flavorful. The servers did not come back to ask if everything was okay, and if we needed water refills. I am certainly not trying this restaurant again.
Hadn't been there in a while so we decided to give it another try. Huge mistake! Don't waste your time or money going there!!I ordered a taco salad with chicken, not sure what they did, but it came out looking more like a bowl of soup!! Absolutely disgusting.When I mentioned it to the waiter he acted lke he didn't care. Customer service there is the worst I have seen anywhere! Would give it zero stars if that was an option. Will never go back.
Great restaurant with delicious food and great service. Get to know the guys that work there, they are always ready to serve and make sure you are happy. This is one of the fastest restaurant in Des Moines. It has the speed of a fast food restaurant without compromising quality. Oh and full bar. Check it out!

This restaurant has been perfect EVERY time I've been there. Gone for the past 4 years and it's been great. The chimichanga is really my go-to but we've had the skillets, shrimp, fajitas etc and it's excellent. Salsa isn't too spicy, chips are fried to perfection and the wait staff is attentive and respectful! 10/10
I mostly liked the food & drinks. The atmosphere was really loud, rushed & crazy busy. We are not big people but the booth we sat in was very small for 4 people to eat & drink at. We enjoyed it, but we do prefer a calmer, quieter environment to eat & visit with friends at. We had to raise our voices to talk just across the small table at our booth.
This place is a great west des Moines gem for Mexican food. Great service and very tasty food!!
The food was good. The server was horriable. I dont normaly drink but once in a blue moon but since it was my daughters birthday I decided i would take a shot of JD with her to celebrate .... We got our shots and i couldnt believe what they served them in and that they gave us watered down whiskey... Told the manager and he wouldn't even acknowledge what I was saying... I do not recommend this place at all!!!!
