I told the waiter I wanted a sweet mocktail of the waiter’s choice, and they brought me a delicious “awkwardly holding hands on the beach.” My partner had a great “panorama.” The service was great and the ambiance is really cool. Lots of Des Moines history.

If you're looking for a more relaxed, old school style of food and drink, then you'll definitely enjoy a stop at Ken's. No tvs and a pleasant atmosphere allow a stress-free experience. Good whiskey to pick from and good service.

Absolutely the best sandwich’s I have had for years. Wife and I split a Lobster and artichoke sandwich and a Graziano Guinea Grinder sandwich. Absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent, along with atmosphere.
