I stopped here for a celebratory cookie after grocery shopping and I wasn't disappointed.Their menu is straightforward, they offer over a dozen varieties of cookie, many different ice creams, and toppings to go with it.Cookies are separated into simple or deluxe. Simple cookies are smaller, and the deluxe cook is usually have an extra ingredient and are about twice the size.I bought a 4+4 for 20$ and so far the oatmeal chocolate walnut and chocolate chip cookies were delicious. The staff answered my questions and I didn't spend more than 3 minutes in the store. I would definitely recommend.
Don't bother. You're better off going to the Hy-Vee bakery across the street. Insomnia Cookies have fun flavors, but the actual cookies are nothing great. Seriously, go to Hy-Vee. It's not even about the money. The vibe inside Insomnia Cookies is also strange. Not much personality. As other reviewers mentioned, it's very small.
Awful. awful. Awful. Just tried to order cookies and the delivery driver cancelled because “he doesn’t like delivering to this building.” In the notes for the original order it says we will meet him at the door to avoid hassle. When my boyfriend called and asked for a refund she said “do you know how banks work?” And he responds “do you know how delivery drivers work” and was hung up on.Cookies are almost always over cooked. They never separate the vegan to none vegan. And the workers are always to busy talking with each other to give good service. This place is filled with trash staff. Shame really.
Poor customer service specifically the heavier set girl/woman with dark hair has a terrible attitude she lit said out loud that she hates when people stand around in regards to us looking at the left side menu and there was nobody else in the box store waiting , her slick mouth stop me in my tracks I didn’t even order bc why would I pay for her wages, won’t be back not even if the cookies were free and the co-workers were talking to each other so disrespectfully and purposely told a customer a long wait time because he didn’t want them in the store anymore/or to warm their cake up. Do better
From out of town & accidentally saw this store so we bought berries & cream (cookie lab creation at the time we visited) & chocolate chunk; enjoyed the berries more than the original but both are really good.Place is really small. The cashier/server was friendly. So no complaints.
Went by store and doors were locked with employees inside. Placed a delivery order and waited an hour. Called and was told just out for delivery. Waited another hour, called and was told they weren’t sure of the status but would call me back. They called back and said they couldn’t deliver as they couldn’t get into my building. I stated that I had listed my contact information in the instructions and acknowledged they would have to shoot me a quick text or call. The person acknowledged that was correct. I was then told they had called and texted me, but I was never contacted. Was told they left it outside and it was gone. Not awesome.
Can't sleep? Go get a cookie!!! Hot fresh cookies for late night cravings (or actually anytime of the day for that matter!)There were 3 plant based options and a dozen traditional cookie flavors. These cookies were delicious! And a nice size.Grabbed a chocolate chunk and a birthday cake. Both cookies were crunchy.Total came to $4.xxThe chocolate chunk was the best one. Crunchy on the outside soft in the middle. Very similar to a tollhouse cookie.Couldn't even tell it was vegan! They offer ice cream, brownies, and bottled drinks. (No vegan or plant based ice cream or brownies)Can customize cookie sandwiches with ice cream or icing. So many box and bucket packages to choose from or can buy a single cookie.Customer service was nice.Shop was extremely small. Only room to fit 4 customers comfortably. And there is only one door to come in and go out.No seating space. That's too bad cuz it would have been awesome to have a sit down spot and enjoy cookies and coffee in a comfy cafe. This shop was more a take out shop.I recommend Insomnia Cookie! I think they're a perfect dessert spot in the Court Ave district.Grab dinner around and walk over to Insomnia Cookie.
Cookie was ok but I was pickpocketed in the incredibly cramped space after paying while waiting for my cookie with several strangers, which took 10-15ish minutes to cook. When telling the employee and asking if someone returned the wallet (slim chance with theives) she kinda smiled and said "I didn't see that and nothing is here". Unclear if there are cameras around, but police report has been made. Terrible experience.
The staff was super polite and the space was clean. I did not have to wait long (even though there were other customers and only one employee). What really took the wind out of my sails was the quality. The cookies were hit or miss. The flavors that were good were incredible. The ones that weren't...really weren't. :( I love cookies so I will probably give this place another try.
I had a decent experience here. The 2 employees we saw/interacted with.Only downside is the small space, they were so busy we were waiting outside for a minute. All of our cookies were fresh and soft.Deluxe SmoresChocolate ChipM&MsWhite Chocolate Macadamia NutAnd another Chocolate I can't remember the name.
