Came here to celebrate my nieces graduation from elementary school, we all had a decent time. Game selection wasn’t something to be wow’d about. The service was subpar and the food was decent, the best thing I had was probably the Buffalo wings. I don’t feel the need to return but Good for young kids.
Everything about this place was so much better than I expected. The portion sizes are huge, the food tastes fantastic and was cooked to perfection. The food came out quickly and was fresh and hot. The service was friendly and all around remarkable. The games are fun and the selection is great! I will be looking for any excuse to go again
The arcade itself was a little hard to find but we were from out of town so locals may know exactly where it's at. Food was exceptional for being an arcade!! A little on the expensive side but did not disappoint. Arcade doesn't have a lot of variety in games and it seems to cost a lot to play.
My family visited here for lunch and games. This review is for our server Evan. Our food, beer and experience here was perfect. He was fast, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job for us. This guy deserves a raise or promotion.
Was quiet for Monday lunch. I ordered med rare blue cheese. While I was saddened by the quantity of blue cheese, the burger was fabulous. We also ordered a chili burger which had pastrami which was not all that great. Also ordered the prime rib grilled cheese, which is phenomenal. Lastly the chicken alfredo, which was short on chicken. Two people swapped the tea, fountain, for soda. I am giving five stars because my burger came out perfect. As a whole, I would noy have given five stars.
My family & I had more fun than we were anticipating. Great for all ages. Good selection of food & drink & great service. We will be back!
We always pass this place when we visit Flix and decided to give it a try as a fun date night adventure. I have heard relatively good things, but I was not prepared for the quality of the food we had. It was easily 10x better than we both expected. Our pretzel appetizer was the best soft pretzel we've had, probably ever. It was big and pretty much perfect in every way. My chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had too. The outside was crispy and flavorful, while the inside was perfectly cooked and juicy. The only non-5 star thing about my meal was the tomato on the sandwich, which I'm not going to fault them for. It's hard to find good tomatoes right now. My husband loved his burger, but didn't care for the parmesan potatoes, which are kind of hasbrown-ish and we're swimming in oil/butter (not really a bad thing, but just wasn't for him).The arcade was SO MUCH FUN and we got way more play time for our money than we expected. $20 in play credits lasted us about an hour and a half and we got to play pretty much every game we wanted. I highly recommend for a fun date night!
I initially enjoyed my experience as the food was good, and they provided some gluten-free options. However, I was looking to be able to participate in the bucket deal so that our kids could have the 2 unlimited 1-hour game cards that come with it. I offered to pay face-value for the white claws (as with celiac disease I can’t drink beer) as long as I could get the 2 game cards that come with the bucket deal. They wouldn’t allow that nor would they allow me to have 4 drinks rather than 5 in order to participate in the deal. They should have some sort of alternative for those who can’t drink beer to still have the same quality experience as those who can. For instance, Smash Park in West Des Moines will offer gluten free alternatives for their bucket deals. For anyone with celiac disease, there are better deals than Gameday in the Des Moines area!
