The food was incredible in taste and presentation. The staff made the experience top notch from start to finish and made us feel so welcome. We liked the upbeat music too ? Will definitely return to try more menu items.
I was very excited to finally get to try this place after several weeks of attempting. From the time we walked into the restaurant we were treated with a warm and welcoming staff and a very chic decor. The food is where I had the actual problem. Some of the problem stems from what we ordered and some is the overall seasoning or lack there of in our case. Some of the dishes we ordered needed salt and even after adding it still was bland. We ordered a mock drink that was just as much as the real thing and it came in a very tiny glass. Overall I think the prices were too high and the food was under seasoned. Not sure I will plan another trip here.
Good experience overall. The service was pretty good and wait times for food was reasonable. The food was average but we expected a bit more for the cost. The bartender made an excellent old fashioned and the drinks were the best part. Hanger steak was not cooked evenly and lacking in flavor. The wings had good flavor but chewy. The chicken tacos were excellent, I would definitely order the tacos again.
Have eaten several times at this beautiful venue. On Saturday evening the male host, in the pink shirt, hollered over the counter and was snippy to us. Fortunately the bar waitress made up for his curtness. Also, she was really, really busy!!! Great cocktails! Unfortunately, the meal was so, so. Had the chicken sandwich with skimpy toppings and a very thin piece of chicken. Another ordered the Fresko burger medium, also with skimpy toppings, and it came out well done and not hot. Then another ordered the steak and it was really grissly. Potatoes were good all around. From ordering dessert, which was delicious, to getting our bill we waited an hour. Perhaps something has changed but it will be awhile before I go back.
Husband & I with daughter & son-in-law enjoyed a nice Saturday night supper. Started with the very tasty, loaded nachos. Hubby & I choose chicken breasts with a cheese sauce. We liked the potatoes but skip the greens! Daughter choose steak & son-in-law picked the salmon. We each tasted the other's choice. Both couples picked the chocolate desert in a little glass cup. Service was very good. Nice place!
The food was extremely fresh. I’ll definitely go back to try different things on the menu. The tiramisu dessert was phenomenal. They have a kids menu and it is kids friendly. Great vibe inside. Not expensive at all.
We like other spots near by better, but love the atmosphere here. The menu is lacking a little, but overall very good food and fun atmosphere.
[October] Date night with my best friend!Neither of us had been to Fresko, so we obviously wanted to sample the entire menu! Thinking we were ready to order, our waitress informed us tacos were half off. So, we went back to the drawing board!Their white sangria had fresh lime, lemon, and orange - and is my new favorite sangria in the DSM area! We went with the kefte, beet and goat cheese salad, and their goat cheese and truffle smashed potatoes! For tacos (all awesome, but here was our order of preference): short rib, chicken (mango salsa), fish (jicama slaw).Great food with the best company! ???
Fun spot that gives you the bustling down town dinning experience. Was able to be seated right away for our reservation and the staff was very friendly and great to be around. The menu has a great selection ranging from Sushi Rolls to Prime Fillet. Had a lighter meal for our dinner sharing Tuna Tartare followed with a Beet Goat cheese salad and the Fungo flatbread. Would recommend everything we ordered.
Absolutely incredible food! Very diverse menu that suits a variety of food preferences, even picky eaters! The food is expertly prepared, and tastes so light and fresh. Left us feeling satisfied and full but not heavy and tired.The lunch menu and dinner menu are both incredible. I appreciate that they're open during the weekdays for downtown employees. I enjoyed their dinner for the first time this weekend and I can't wait to go back. Absolutely worth it.
