I ordered a pizza last night. It was the best pizza we have had in years. The crust was crispy. The hot sausage is locally made and exceptional. This is our new pizza place.
The staff was welcoming, kind, and kept themselves active, and the restaurant clean. The food was very good. The fries stood out for me, they were amazing. I will come back and recommend to my friends and family. Thank you !
Amazing Food and Service is excellent! Not a lot of places to sit inside and the parking isn't amazing, since it is surrounded by other shops, but well worth the wait! I have been twice and each time I have tried something new and I was not disappointed!
I feel like there’s a lot to be tried on this menu and today I am hopeful that I just chose the wrong things to try. The PBJ fries were very soggy, and the thai wrap was also very soggy and wet. I think the fries may have been better fresh. I hope to try something else on the menu next time and it be better than this experience :/
This was our first time to Curbin Cuisine & I have to say I was impressed. They have an impressive menu, the service was very friendly, & the food was excellent. It's very informal, their menu is written on a chalk board & you ordered at the register. You then pay, get a number, & they bring your food out to you. My gyro was excellent! It was traditional & yet not traditional at the same time. It had meat, cucumber sauce, & the veggies you would expect along with chunks of cucumber & feta cheese. The fries were crispy on the outside & tender in the middle like I like them. My wife got a pepperoni pizza & got exactly what she expected. We also got a delicious brownie to share. We will be back!
I love Curbin' Cuisine and highly recommend it! They have a great menu with a good choice of sandwiches, pizza, entrees and some awesome sides. My personal favorite are their PB&J fries. You get a generous portion of crispy, golden fries, coated with Thai peanut sauce and Chipotle Raspberry jam, then topped with sesame seeds. It's delicious. The crabcake po-boy and the Cubano are other favorites. Please go and visit this local business, you want be sorry! I love Curbin' Cuisine!
The service here is ALWAYS VERY slow and they are unapologetic about it. There are so many better places in Des Moines.
Wife got the vegetarian burger quinoa salad and absolutely loved it. I got the Jerk chicken sandwich and fries, also loved it. Everything else on the menu sounded fire, we'll definitely est there again soon.
One of my new favorites! So far I've had the jerk chicken sandwich, the Havana Cubana, and two soups of the day. Everything has been great and the prices are reasonable too.
Delicious food and friendly staff! I like that they have a large variety of options. The seating area is smaller, but we’ve always been able to find a seat. They do have a few outdoor tables for when the weather is nice.Menu items we’ve had and enjoyed: Spin Art Quesadilla, Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sandwich, Big Juicy Beef Sandwich, Thai Chicken Crunch Wrap, The Oozy Grilled Cheese Sandwich. All had great portions of meat/cheese/toppings. I enjoyed the side options as well and I really like the type of fries. Crispy and not heavily breaded. You really get a good value for your money.
