Stopped here for gelato after eating lunch down the street. Everyone behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. They were patient and let us try a few before making a decision. Their gelato was delicious! It was the perfect finish to our meal. I don't like chocolate but I'm tempted to go back and try it considering how good their gelato is!
Amazing chocolate. My go to place for wonderful chocolate or gelato in town, or as a good gift idea for chocolate lovers. They also have great coffee and hot cocoa!
The only true richness can be found in heaven, that is untill Chocolate Stam in 1913.For but a few penny's more, this is the way and place chocolate heaven can be found here on earth.English chocolate may use to much oil, other prefer coco butter but in Amsterdam, with Chocolaterie Stam, there exisits a better way, don't take my word... Bought some espresso beans, dark chocolate sea salt cashews, and some dark medallions. Outstanding quality chocolate. Will be coming back for more!
I searched for “best ice cream near me” and found this WONDERFUL little shop. The cherry mascarpone gelato was sumptuous down to the last bite. I wanted a little coffee, and got the best cup of coffee I’ve had in Des Moines! I would go back for the gelato or coffee alone, but the service was the highlight of my whole experience! BRAVO!!!
Stam's has some of the best confections I have ever enjoyed. For a real treat, buy some rum beans--make sure you put the entire thing in your mouth before biting down unless you want rum drizzling down your chin!
