I used to get chengs all the time. It had been about 6 months since i had it so i got some beef with mushrooms last night. I woke up at 4am puking and again at 6am. I feel like death. Probably never going back.
If there were a rating less than one star I would definitely give it to this place! Found their menu in the lobby of our hotel, it said in Big Red letters we deliver. We decided to call them for delivery, ask them if they delivered, they said of course. We then went on to place and almost $100 order. Then they told us they could not deliver to our hotel. My daughter went to go pick up the food. She got there approximately 20 minutes after placing the order and our foods still wasn't ready. She sat there and waited for another 20 to 25 minutes before it was ready to go. Then, when she got back to the hotel, we unpacked the food and started playing it. The chicken was so overcooked I couldn't even chew it, the fried rice was just awful, the sweet and sour pork was hard so hard that it was almost impossible with you. The low main wasn't bad. The soup was pretty good. But for $100 I would expect a lot better. Don't waste your money people.
My delivery came well within timeframe. The food was still hot/warm. Egg rolls & crab Rangoon were very crispy. Just as I like them. I will definately order again.
Would give negative stars if I could. Chicken was so dry and overcooked I could not even stab it with a fork! The chicken was literally as hard as a rock. Do not waste your money. Crab ragoons weren't even that good and I love me some ragoons! ?
Only 1 star so I could post this warning. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ DO NOT ORDER, me and my kids were sick for 3 days. Uber eats, Door dash and Grubhub should remove so they stop encouraging this restaurant. Ordering out for some people isn't something they can afford to do often, so when they do, we shouldnt be taken advantage of. 50 bucks down the drain literally 3 days on the pot! My son said, "Are you sure it's not just a front for some other business, because the food was disgusting?"
I can't even say how bad or good the food was because I never got my 40 dollar order. I called after 30+ min of waiting for the food, and they just asked for my number and said they'd get back to me. Low and behold, they didn't get back to me and wouldn't answer the phone when I called back. Definitely don't eat here. Terrible service!
The second to last time I ordered from here, I got food poisoning and I dealt with it the entire next day. This latest time, there was a bone in the sesame chicken and it was mushy and mostly breading. Oh yeah, there was also a 3 inch long hair in the food as well. NEVER ORDERING FROM CHENG AGAIN. Ordered on doordash for the first time last night for the first time, they have the best sweet and sour sauce I have ever tried, the food was great with reasonable portions and actually warmed up great the next day. We also got a really cool 2022 bamboo Calender. We will order again!
This is my go to Chinese place and I'm so sad to be posting thisOrdered at 7pm delivery and they said one hour as usual. after an hour and a half I call for an update and was told driver was right around the corner. After another 15 minutes I called back and was told to give him another two minute after another 30 I called AGAIN and was told he was around the corner again. Finally at three Hours I asked for a refund and they seemed appalled. Unfortunately they've Lost my business.
We ordered through Uber eats and they sent there own driver that doesn’t work for Uber eats. We asked for food to be left at door due to my wife being home alone and our baby is sleeping. The driver banged on our door aggressively and rang door bell over and over. He then proceeded to call me over and over demanding I open the door. I asked several times for him to just leave the food at the door. He argued with me on 3 separate phone calls telling me to open door now and I had to threaten to call the police for him to leave my wife alone. He dropped off food eventually then came back and continued to beat on our door and calling me telling me to open the door now. I had to get very upset with him for him to finally hang up and leave. This place has the worse manners and can’t seem to follow simple instructions. My wife paid online so there was no need for her to open the door for him. They do not speak English as well so that made it incredibly frustrating. I will never order food from here as the food was sub par as well
