Not to be a Karen but my boyfriend and I’s experience was not good. When we walked in we were met by an older man who I assume to be the manager by his dress, he never looked up at as just said welcome and sat us. Our waitress (who was a bigger girl with red hair in a bun, sunglasses on her head, tattoos and piercings) started off super nice. We placed our order and only one group of men were there when we were seated. In the hour and fifteen minute time frame it took for us to get our food, 3 groups were seated, got their food and two even checked out before we had our food. She came over and asked if we were doing alright by the time we were finished and had our napkins on our plates so I asked for the check. It took her ten minutes to get our check because she was over at a booth were her coworkers horsing around and going on their phones when it would’ve taken five seconds to print our recipe, check us out and then do whatever you want. Not pleased.
Very disappointing. Very short staffed. What staff was there was mostly professional and polite but there was about half of what there should be. I ordered online, was 5 mins late and waited a half hour. Wait times should be accurate on the web and app. Further, the food was cold and order was wrong. This locations seems to continuously struggle as it was dead and slow last time we were here as well. And to top it off, when I made numerous attempts to report this on the app, the app crashed with no warning forcing me to start over.
This place used to be great! Now, the take out food service is horrible. EVERY TIME I order online or call in for pick up I have them repeat the order because I KNOW it is going to get messed up. I have received my wings messed up with wrong sauces and missing orders. Why is this so difficult? I get it once or twice but every time? Come on!! Please don’t reply with an “I am sorry” or apologizing for horrible service. Just fix it and get back to the way it was. Train your employees properly!
My husband and I ordered our food to go, we live in Indianola, and have had decent takeout with a few missed items here or there over the years. Tonight was the absolute worst. We made it home around 11pm with takeout. The WHOLE ORDER WAS WRONG and we didn’t get our sides!! We order sauce on the side and the guy at the counter said was in our food boxes - nope! They put the wrong sauce on the meal itself! My daughters and I didn’t get to eat our late night dinner after a special night out. Wasted food and money. What’s worse is my husband and daughter said they weren’t offed the receipt in the store and didn’t think to ask due to being tired.q I can’t even find the contact information for the store to email the general manager on the website as they were not working. In case he/she reads this, I’d be surprised after the way the store is ran if the customer is even important, I would love to talk to you and share our order information and what we received so maybe you can keep a long time loyal customer.
Well first off we went out with my parents for my birthday. Huge mistake to chose this location. I will point out or waitress was great that’s where the positive points end. First of all there were so many waitresses/ waiters and hostess that they were just sitting around at a table behind us being obnoxious and using horrible language when my children were sitting there with us and could hear everything. Yes kids hear it everywhere but should not from employees at a restaurant we are eating at. Secondly all our food did not come out at the same time. My mothers was first then 5 minutes went by then my fathers and so on and so on until my wife was the last. 25 minutes after my moms meal came out. My mother didn’t want to eat her meal until everyone had theirs but had to so it wouldn’t go cold. At one point I asked the manager on when we would have the rest of our meals and he rudely said while walking away from us that he didn’t know. I understand that there are shortages of workers but they had 6-8 people just messing around not doing anything. I’m so upset on our experience especially since it’s where I choose to celebrate my birthday with my family. This place needs to do some restructuring or it’s for sure to end up closed down for good. Which would be a shame for the south side
If I could rate this location a 0/10 I definitely would. The service the first time I went with some friends was horrible, the guy who was serving us was extremely rude the entire time then tried to cover it up with “I’m just kidding” and when i politely asked the waiter if he could grab ketchup for us for the fries when he had a free moment he was extremely rude and also tried to cover it up as to make us feel like he was joking. So my order came out over an hour after my friends got their food and probably spent 2 1/2 to 3 hours waiting for drinks, food, and the bill. My friends and I decided to go back a second time to give this restaurant another chance and had another horrible experience with the waitress as she never gave us silver ware or napkins and drinks, which another waitress brought us, while our original waitress was getting groped by a guy who was visiting her. When we paid I was told they could also not provide me change.
Granddaughter has a milk allergy as well as having Celiac and we have to be careful about where to eat and what can feed her.Let me just say Chris, the manager, went above and beyond, NOT only did he come clarify what her allergies are but said because he wasn't sure if a breaded chicken fell in so felt more comfortable baking her fries. Then came and talked to us a few times.Next time we are in the area we will be back!!
If you're visiting on your lunch hour, be forewarned.We visit this location on our lunch hour close to our work. Because we're limited on time, we usually order right away then pay via the app. They were short staffed on Friday so the bartender came over took our order, we paid and then waited. When the waitress realized the bartender took our order, she had no desire to serve us. My husband got his food pretty soon after we ordered, my food took forever, we asked the waitress if she knew where my food was, she said oh it takes awhile, shortly after the bartender walked over and noticed I didn't have my food. Needless to say I probably got three minutes to eat my meal to be back at work in time, ended up leaving without really eating. The food was cold so it had probably just been sitting there. Will not be going there for a bit till they figure their stuff out.
Food was good, but I had bad experience while dining in last time there. It was busy which I usually don’t mind the waiting but the lady who served me completely forgot to serve at my table and did not come back at all, after she took my orders and filled up drinks before my food is out. I also wanted make separate to go order as same time but she told me to order later. But she ended up go serve at the bar tables after that, which she was told by manager to do that. I got my food, brought out by other servers. I waited for long time, she isn’t come back because I need to check out. I had to ask around so other servers could find her so I can pay. And I wasn’t able to make to go order either.
We had a long day and were happy to eat an early supper. We were 1 of maybe 3 tables. It took a very long time to get our food. We asked for samples of the honey BBQ sauce and sweet sauce. They brought us the wrong sauces, one definitely had curry in it. Once our food came it was clear they put the wrong sauce on my husbands order. My husband wanted the mild sauce, it was very spicy. It wasn't the worst experience but the wrong sauce twice and slow service with few customers - not likely that we'll be back.
