We love bbops. Their food is fast, fresh, and delicious. One of our favorite places to eat in Des Moines. Nice eating outside when the weather is nice.

I ordered a unsweetened tea and got a raspberry tea, plus it was a medium.. My pork fritter and it was over cooked. I tried to talk to the night manger about my medium drink and wondered why it wasn't larg. Our other drink was..she tried to put it on me. I tried to talk about common sense and she shut the window and walked off. The guy who handed me my drinks was not wanting to do what's right.. I'll never return to 14th St again. It has gone down hill. They want more pay and refuse to work right for it. I'll be reporting the manger for her lack of concern. I'm dibatic and can not drink raspberry tea. I'm calling district manager.
Local and not a chain. That is the first reason to go here. Certain locations have deals on burgers. Euclid and E 14th. 159 a burger on the weekends. One in Ankeny has a Monday deal.I love their burgers. Messy and full of ingredients. Their double is the ultimate hangover remedy. Their fries are crispy.Shop local eat here instead of a national burger chain.
My fish was so overdone that the edges were so hard . I had to take all of them off. It took so long to eat but I loved the chicken nuggets

The best sandwiches hottest freshest fries wonderful shakes so thick and I love their chili I recommend try is a must better than McDonald's burger king and prices are reasonable
There lines may seem long on different time of day but I promise you they will get you right threw them and hand you very warm food, plus you never can go wrong with a chicken sandwich.
Way to slow of service. I understand it was busy but with only 5 cars ahead of me in the drive thru it took over 30 minutes just to get to the window and another 5 to get my order. Love the food but it is clear I just don't have the time during my lunch time from work to stop there anymore
Food was good and you get a good quantity of fries. Really had eaten there for a very long time due to past issues. I enjoyed it though. Not something I would choose all the time.
