A friend took us here for brunch. It is such a cute place. I love the style of the place. Had a "Betty white" for a drink. Loved it. We had cheese curds, kids Wolfed them down. I had a meat skillet delish! There were donuts and cinnamon rolls! Nova was a fantastic waitress! *parking was tough during the farmers market.
i got the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend got the veggie burger and they were both SO good!! every single staff was super friendly and so kind. the place inside itself is so cute and cozy. i loved it and i would definitely go back again!
The Diner is in my top 5 favorite places to eat in the Quad Cities. The food has always been outstanding, from the fried pickles to the country fried steak. The atmosphere is pretty unique and the staff is extremely friendly! If you get a chance to go, ask for Elissa as your server (she's hilarious).On my most recent visit they unfortunately took fried pickles off the menu. However, there's a new Nashville Hot cheese curd option that is just as amazing as their pickles were!The biscuits and gravy as been consistently great every single time, I normally get the "Country Fried B&G". Additionally, the "Brunch Burger" is a very solid choice if you're looking for a burger! Portions are medium-large and prices are reasonable especially considering the quality and consistency.Parking can be found on the south side of the building along with an elevator entrance since the restaurant is located on the second floor.
The atmosphere, vibe, and staff are so fun and cute! The food was AMAZING! I got a mimosa flight and there were so many flavors to choose from. My favorite was the cherry limeade! I also loved that they have vegetarian sausage, which I got on the sweet potato skillet and LOVED!
Nice little place in a cool, restored space. The Blueberry Lemon Old Fashioned is definitely not traditional, but it tasted pretty great. Or breakfast was good: it didn't blow us away, but it beat hotel food for sure. Definitely worth a visit for the convenience and the friendly staff.

We are from NE Indiana and travel to Rock Island IL occasionally for official business and every time we get that paperwork I do a Happy Dance!!! I'm going to The Diner!!! It's Fabulous Food and the Best, Fun and unique atmosphere...you do not want to miss getting an opportunity to stop in !! You get greeted like you are family by the fun energetic staff, I can't wait for our next trip!!
