Voted best Spin-Dip, Mac & Cheese, and Wings in the QC. By Me. Honestly, it is hard to run a wing special week in and week out while still putting out quality food.. But Mac's does it. Every. Single. Time. I strongly suggest the Jamaican Jerk or Ragin Cajun Wings. Great Drink menu and prices. Hardworking and friendly staff! Check em out!
I love the atmosphere. The prices for drinks was reasonably. Bartender was excellent. I left my purse...went back to get it the next day & everything was in there just like I left it. Will be back real soon
Divey, in a good way. Not a lot of natural light, so it's easy to lose track of time. The music playing over the sound system seemed more to match the bartender's taste than the customers' vibe. Everyone we've talked to raves about their food. We just had their fries, and they were hot, crisp, and tasty.
Very attentive staff, even during peak busy hours. Excellent food, combined the Mac and cheese and bangers and mash entrees, expecting leftovers, but it was so good, I ate it all. Also has a full bar and beer on tap.

Went on a Wednesday night. Good crowd but mostly college age. Drink prices are good. Four of us dropped in for my son's birthday and the owner gave him a shot. I will stop back in.
Stopped in on a Wednesday nite and the booths we all full. Wife and I sat at the bar and had dinner. Wife had the Reuben sandwich and I had the fish and chips. Both very good choices. Also ordered there onion rings and the were very tasty. Great place to eat and socialize.
My girlfriend and I have dined here probably ten times over the past year. We'll be going again in half an hour. Everything is good. I've had the double three cheeseburger, the reuben, the beef stew, the mac and cheese, the cheese ale (?) burger, and the smokehouse (?) burger.... and everything has been outstanding. We typically share the chips & cheese appetizer, and every time i am tempted to just pick up the spoon and eat the wonderful sauce. The salads are pretty standard, but the dressings are homemade and outstanding. I'm a ranch/blue cheese guy, and their versions are really good. The fries are perfect.. The prices are pretty low for the market, which means the value -- when you consider the extremely high food quality -- really can't be beat in Davenport. Everything is good, and even with drinks and an app you and a date can be out fir $40-$50 including tax and tip. Hence... we're going back again tonight. Going to finally try the fried chicken sandwich with parmesan aioli. Or I'll get it with the spicy sauce and have a side of ranch for dipping on the side to balance it out. Decisions, decisions.
