This place never fails. They have a great Michelada, a little hint of sweet, but just right. Every dish I have ordered from there has been great. They have a full bar and make great drinks. You always get chips and salsa when seated. The family that owns and operates this location has been in the area for years and have more than gained the respect of the community. Very hard working and friendly staff.
It is a great place, and you can tell everyone loves it. They are very busy but short handed, so be ready to wait. I don't mind waiting for good food. I got the El Pastor, very good. It isn't a traditional pastor but a good substitute.
Beautiful place , delicious food , but impressive menu . They have authentic variety dishes to get . Menu has too many choices. People very friendly super clean place. Definitely some of place that I never forgot . Drink gets 5 starts, on my opinionHere is a place where you can enjoy , amazing and have quality service .
Great atmosphere, excellent staff and flavorful, authentic cuisine. The decor is very colorful. On your birthday they bring you a sombrero to wear and a mariachi sings you happy birthday and a Spanish song.
We love Los Portales! We usually have 11 people when we go out to eat and most places cannot accommodate that on a short notice but they always get us right in and our food comes quickly! The people who work there are also super friendly!
Staff shortages have hit everyone hard. I'd like to see how this place is with a full staff.The Texas fajitas were great. I would scale back on the bell peppers if you want to be more authentic. The seasoning was on point. But, too many bell peppers changes the overall presentation and flavor of a fajita platter. If you want color, use more onions and some Sonora peppers or other mild peppers as Midwest consumers don't do jalapenos as well as Texans do.
We stopped by for the first time this evening for dinner out in a long time. (Not fast food or take away) We were greeted and sat with in moments. Alicia brought out the normal chips and dip and answered questions about the menu. Our meals were wonderful. We both enjoyed every bite. Asked for togo boxes and she brought out every thing straight away. Dinner was lovely and we hope to return soon.
Food was amazing! Nice friendly atmosphere. Salsa was delicious! We both ordered the chicken and steak mixed fajitas and margaritas and our bill came out to just under $50. I was full with enough food left over for at least two more meals. I will definitely visit again
Been here a few times have never been disappointed! Must try the cheese dip!! And margaritas delicious
My absolute favorite breakfast spot! Francisco is so nice! At night they have excellent margaritas and food. My go to spot no matter what time of day!
