My sister and I spun the decision wheel and decided to try the Family Restaurant in Davenport. It's not fancy. It's delicious. If you want laid back, no frills just delicious food, this is a place to try. I was a little disappointed that they had stopped serving spaghetti 1 hour before close, but they explained about the length of time to cook the pasta (so wasn't pre-cooked) and my alternative sandwich was a great substitute. This review platform only allows for "cheap eats, mid-range or fine dining" to express the prices. This really falls between cheap eats and mid-range.

The Family Restaurant on Kimberly in Davenport is an excellent place to eat. The food is always good, it is clean, the staff is friendly, and the pricing is reasonable. We eat there at least 3 times a week. Lunch primarily, breakfast and often dinner. Whenever we have out of town guests, we take them there because the menu is big enough to please everyone. It is particularly excellent for seniors as along with the reasonable pricing it is all on one level. Thank you

First time eating at this restaurant. Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress Michelle was great. She was very friendly and kept our drinks full. Food was delicious. We even got chocolate cake and ice cream for desert and it was really good. We will definitely be back.

If anyone is missing a Grandma, I'm convinced they're in the kitchen of this place. Honestly tastes like i stepped back in time to my grandma's house in the best of ways. Great breakfast food, great service and fast too. Everything tastes homemade. You wont be disappointed!

The breakfast here was the best I’ve had in a very very long time! It brought me back to my grandmas cooking. It was an amazing and nostalgic experience. Also another plus the staff was so nice and the vibes in the restaurant were beautiful. Couldn’t be happier ❤️

I went to this restaurant because it is one i am comfortable going to as a widow that is alone. I would have gladly given 5 stars had the waiterss came back after sitting my food in front of me. I could have used a soda refill but chocked down the rest of my meal with the water I received. Then after I nicely stacked up my dirty dishes, she just goes by lays the ticket down in front of me starts to walk away then comes back "do you need anything" I said no paid my bill and left. Had I been asked if I wanted dessert 98% chance I would have said yes. I came in at 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon because I figured they were not that busy and I was right however the service was below par.

I will start by saying the service was good. We were seated almost immediately. Our server took our drink order right off the bat and was attentive during our meal. She checked on us just the right amount where we didn't feel bothered or forgotten. Unfortunately the food left something to be desired. I would say it's a get what you paid for kind of thing but I could have eaten at a Perkins or Villiage Inn for the same price and gotten better food. The food was fairly bland. My wife ordered eggs over medium and they came out over easy and very very runny. She also got bacon that was so over done it wasn't edible. I got the roast turkey and dressing. The dressing tasted like Stove Top and the turkey and gravy reminded me of something from a grocery store kitchen. While I try to support small businesses and I love finding little no name/non-chain places to eat, I would not visit this one again.

Good food. Excellent service. Good quality. Friendly staff. Diverse menu choice.

Our server was AMAZING but the kitchen staff is rather incompetent. I was not very satisfied with the food at all. I used to go here with my Grammie a lot but it has gone downhill completely.

An unchanged restraint for over 30 years now. This is where you star family traditions. Great food and solid our portions. Take your kids for a Mickey Mouse pancake.
