I don't always go out for Mexican food as the places around the Quad Cities I have already been to are the same; over greased burritos and bland ingredients. But this place is AMAZING! The food is delicious, like seriously delicious. The wait staff are nice and patient and although it is a little busy, the food and margaritas are so worth the wait. I can't wait to go again.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Fast and pleasant service. Each plate had nice presentation. A little pricey but worth it. Not a good environment for conversation.
Great food and the guac was amazing. Salsa and sauces were yummy and good! Very friendly environment and tentative waitress. Great experience all around.

Staff is very friendly & customer service is great. We had to wait a bit for food because it was crowded but the staff got us seated as quickly as possible and made sure we had drinks, chips & salsa during our wait. Food is delicious. We have eaten at El Compita several times, it is worth the drive.
