Friendly staff in cute diner. Great menu where you can build your sandwich chicken, hamburger and vegan patties add cheese, bacon ,avocado and choice of bunBreakfast is served all day and you can even have a mimosas or bloody mary. You can also build a pasta. Personally love the grilled chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese,bacon and avocado
The first time I went here I had the Reuben. The best Reuben I've ever had. It was so delicious! I've gone a couple times since trying different things. This last time I went there I ordered the Reuben again and I was so disappointed. It was ok but nothing compared to the first one. The meat wasn't the best. Their fries are never done all the way and the ones you can eat aren't very good. When we were being seated I asked for a booth and the lady said it was dirty this is the only table clean. Ok I used to be a server and that is not how we handled things. I felt she should have wiped down the booth for us. They were not that busy and after seating us she went to socialize with co-workers so really there was no reason she couldn't wipe down the booth for us. Other than that our sever was wonderful and the fried tenderloin is excellent!
I used to love this place. However, after my visit this morning, I will not be returning. Food was decent, but the service or lack of was terrible. The waitress only came to my table once to get my drink order. The cook brought out my food. I didn't get checked on even ONCE! The only time the waitress was nice was when I paid. I was going to bring family here whey came into town, but we will be eating elsewhere.
Food is AMAZING! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.The atmosphere is so much different than anything in the QC, the staff is stellar, and again... Food is amazing.The prices are good, normal a short wait (which is to be expected when the foods this good).Last month Uber eats messed up my order, Double D, fixed the order and delivered it themselves without an issue. No other restaurants go to the level of service I have experienced here.If you haven't tried it, do it.
Nice menu. Good variety but not overwhelming. I love breakfast all day. That alone will have me going back to try it again. Server was friendly and efficient.
I have been frequenting Double D for years and have tried a wide variety of dishes and have yet to find something I don't like. The portion size is good, especially the salads, and everything is so fresh. I've watched them pull out pineapples to cut for their fresh fruit. The owner and staff are delightful, always friendly. I've brought multiple friends here, my parents here from out of town and tomorrow we finally convinced the in-laws.
I LOVE burgers and I think Double D Diner serves the best burger in the Quad Cities. They are juicy, meaty deliciousness! I like all the options you have with the 'Build Your Own Burger' from the buns to the sauces to the toppings---so many possible combinations that I'll just HAVE to keep coming back. The fries are great too---always nice and crispy and plenty of them. If you're a burger fan like I am, you should definitely give them a try!
It was my first time there. I loved it! The food was so yummy. Our waiter (I think his name was Leon) was so nice & friendly. He did a great job! And the owner was super sweet. Can't wait to come back!
The door says classy food and low standards. They definitely take the low standards part seriously. The service was TERRIBLE at best. Food was edible but nothing special. Seriously, I've had better burgers at McDonald's.
This is a nice community based restaurant. When you're there you feel like it's your neighbor at the next table. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent.
