Fried chicken was exceptional today. Meal overall was perfect. Worth waiting for almost hour to be seated with the Sunday morning rush.Their cheesecake pancake breakfast was AWESOME!!! recommend it for everyone to enjoy.
Another awesome breakfast. I wanted to write a review on the spicy chicken sausage for those who follow me. It's awesome and delicious. It will now be my #1 choice. Try it you'll love it. Service was grayed and food was excellent.
This is one of my favorite eating places of all times. It has an old country store down home feel and they greet me by name now. The Food is always fresh, and the Tea is always excellent, and the Smiles are always free. Whether you are 6, 16, 46, 86, or 106, make your way over to Cracker Barrel, because you are sure to enjoy the food, the unique items in the store, as you walk through memory lane, and kind folks that greet you with a smile and treat you like family. You will thank me afterwards :-)
Stopped in for Lunch!Tanisha was our server. She was very friendly, welcoming and patient.Food came out great. Im doing keto right now, and I was kinda of dreading coming to cracker barrel, because you know its cracker barrel.. You usually dont come here for low carb.. But to my surprise, the grilled chicken tenders which were EXCELLENT, and I got a double side of broccoli and butter. Not bad and still into low carb mode.My travel partner got the fish and said it was equally good. Keep it up Cracker Barrel!! We will be coming back soon!
Stopped in for early supper, late lunch, Travis our server was excellent, food was good except the meatloaf which was dry and looked terrible, the breakfast casserole was delicious, overall though we enjoyed our meal.
I've been debating going here because the one back home in Michigan was not to pleasing. So I'm staying at a motel right next door to Cracker Barrel and this is my 11th day here in Iowa and I've tried alot of places so I walked nextdoor.....And Man It Was Swingin....just like my momma use to make it. We had a male waiter I don't remember his name but he was awesome and had great hospitality. I tipped him $10 just because I could tell he could go anywhere and be a great waiter. So to the owner please give this guy a raise he is Iowa. Thank you again sir.
Had to take my great niece after she drove me to and back from my surgery. She had never been to one. She was amazed and had to buy some items in the store after brunch. Love this place, but they need to replace all their plates, they obviously had holes in them. My food mysteriously disappeared...??
Waitress offered good recommendations. We had the grilled chicken strips with dill ranch dip, green beans, baked sweet potatoes with pecans and maple bacon chicken. It was a very good dinner.

Yesterday I was there, the place is nice, its gift shop is beautiful.They gave us a table quickly, they took our order. . But they took so long to bring breakfast and it was bad, the bacon hadn't finished browning, the pale ham, the almost toasted pancakes.The food was not to my liking.Very light coffee.If in the simple thing of a breakfast it was like that, how will a formal meal be?
